~ More Havesting on Friday ~

~ Kitchen Experiment Friday Morning ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Friday Morning, another Day forecast just like Thursday and that Day was just Gorgeous, starting at 48 Degrees and going to 73
And first thing, a checkup on the Kitchen Experiment, the Celery looked ready so I planted it in the Soil
And lookee there! The Onion just poked up it's first show of life... and another one is hiding in there too
So on with another good Day, and what rare adventure does this Day hold for me?

~ Lettuce ~ Onion ~ Celery ~

Still checking the inside Crops and more Success, the Lettuce I just planted on Wednesday is popping up already
And two of the Cucamelon Seeds germinated in one of the Four Pots I planted with them

~ New Lettuce Seedlings ~ Cucumelon Sprouts ~

After finishing my BLOG and early Morning Computering... off to find my Fortune at the Fast Stop
I didn't find my Fortune but I got 3/4ths of my Money back anyway... yeah some Day... just you wait

And then later on that Gorgeous Day, out back to check things, thought I would harvest the Swiss Chard for the last time
This makes about the Fifth harvest of Chard, I pulled up all the Chard Plants, snipped off the Roots and into my Sack

~ Enough Swiss Chard there for several Dinners ~

Then I popped off two tiny Eggplants in that bed, not much luck with Eggplant this Season at all
And I picked off that Cantaloupe that sneaked into the Tomato Cage, wonder if it is good and ripe now

~ Next to Last Cantaloupe growing Now ~ Two dinky Eggplants ~

Finally around back of the Beds to check on the waning Cucumbers, found two more small ones
I saw a few other small ones that just might make it but this Season for them is about gone

~ Anymore coming? ~ Maybe ~

And so that was the extent of the Friday Harvest, then back in to Photo and put the Veggies away
Then I decided to cook up that last batch of Swiss Chard, maybe some for Friday night Dinner
I cut off all the stems, then put the Leaves and Stems in a Pot to wash and rinse a few times
Then I layed them out on a Towel to drain and then cut them into cooking size pieces to saute

Next, put the Stems into a skillet with some sliced Onions, Olive Oil and Garlic Salt. let them simmer slowly
Then I added the Leaves and some Malt Vinegar, a little Black Pepper and Kosher Salt, more simmering
And it didn't look like I had as many Leaves as I thought, what else can I add? Hah! Celery and those Eggplants
I sliced a few pieces of Celery, and the Two little Eggplants, tossed them in, simmered more, needed more Vinegar
And then that was about it... another Taste, yeah that should do it... So a glass of Vino Tinto and back to the TV

Was that the end of Friday.. Hah! Not quite, but this is getting way too lengthy so I shall adjourn for this Day
I had more for Friday, but I'll catch up on the rest of this really nice busy Day on Saturday Morning... Pay Day!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Thursday Morning 7 a.m. Brrrrrrrrr... 46 Degrees, it's COLD out there... Well October is on the way
But, they say it is going to 72, that's a lot better... almost in the comfortable range
And as usual first thing lately, no plans for the Day except plant those Tomato seeds if they show up
So, my Morning Routine wrapped up, I needed some 'Paisano' Vino Tinto, a necessity for sure
And on to the Price Chopper, got my Wine and a few Lottos and headed back in that glorious Sunshine
And then I ruined my early morning bid for wealth with a dinky $5 Win

So then, what's going on around back? Actually nothing much, almost ready to pick that Cantaloupe in the Tomato Bed
Some more Tomatoes ripening slowly and maybe Three more little Cucumbers in a Day or two
Three really tiny Eggplants that will go nowhere and a lot of Green Peppers getting some size
And so, why not Harvest a few of those Peppers, then make Stuffed Peppers for Dinner

~ Direct TV Dish now Standing at Attention ~

On the way back in, grabbed a Photo of my Direct TV Dish, the Guys came on Wednesday to plant it properly
And back in and what is there to do until my Tomato Seeds are delivered, that is 'IF' they do get here
Well, more shelf Changes, I thought I would rather have the Tomato AeroGardens in the Living Room than the Kitchen
And there was an empty Shelf waiting for them, so I brought them in and set them on the Shelf
When the Seeds get here, I would just drop them into the Grow Pods and off we would go again

~ Celery finally deciding to Grow? ~

Then, out to the Kitchen, thought I would start on my Stuffed Pepper Stuffing, thinking Bratwurst and Rice
And a peek at the Celery Experiment on the way, the Lettuce only took a couple Days, the Celery about a week now
Maybe time to slip it under the Soil also? Well they said 5 to 7 Days and then in the Soil, I'll give it a couple more Days

OK the Peppers... Seems the ones I grow are long and skinny not short and fat that are easy to cut off the top and stuff
So I split them down the side and lay them open to Stuff... I did that to a couple and then simmered them a bit
So the stuffing, thawed that Bratwurst, crumbled and simmered with Onions and Rice and my own Ketchup I made
Then when the Peppers cooled a bit I spooned the stuffing into them and added a little Parmesan on top

Then it was about 3 p.m. and time to trek up the Hill to see if my Seeds were in the Mail Box yet
And the Seeds were not in my Mail Box yet... Doggone! Well, maybe today, they did give a range of dates
On toward Dinner time I made some Mashed Taters to go with the Peppers... and then put the Peppers in the Oven to roast
Later I assembled my little Feast... And it was ample, the Peppers just a little bland, needed a touch of Hot Sauce
But it served the need of the Day, on to the TV and the Finale of Thursday...

~ Planted more Lettuce Seeds ~ Moved the Shelves Again ~
~ Speakers came but Didn't Work ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Planted more Seeds in the Aero5 Lettuce Garden ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A little disappointed in the Lettuce Crop in Aerogarden 5, only Four of the Seven Pods I planted germinated
Then in one more, one little Seedling popped up, so... Let's plant some more seeds in those Pods
First thing, before even putting on the Coffee, I planted more Seeds in those Three non producing Pods
Those are my own home constructed Seed Pods... I can't fail can I?

Finished my BLOG, Posted it, finished my Morning Routine, off to the Fast Stop, got my Lottos, only won $5
Then back home to wait for my TV Speakers and Tomato Seeds... And then another Idea hit me
The Cucamelons are sitting on the Bottom Shelf and way down from the Grow Light above... What to do?
Well then I had that little Shelf that was in the Kitchen, empty now, see if it would fit
And I measured and it looked like it would fit between the Orange Tree Pots so I set it in there
And set the Cucamelon Pots on the Top Shelf there, now should get more light, then what when the Vines start growing?
Well, will have to move the Shelf down as the Vines grow up... But that is an... IF they grow, wait and see

~ What Now? ~ Another Shelf Change? ~

So the Day ebbed on until sometime after 1 p.m. and finally the Big Brown Truck showed up
He gave me the Box with my Speakers, I set about unpacking and installing them, a weird set-up
My TV has RCA and Optical Sound outputs, the Speaker had RCA Inputs only, but they sent an adapter
You connect the Optical Cable from the TV to the Adapter, then RCA Cables to the Speaker, so I did that
And it didn't work, so I tried the RCA Outputs from the TV to the RCA connectors on the Speaker
It still didn't work so I took it in the Living Room to try the Optical output from my big TV
And that didn't work either, so I packed it up and then printed out a return form on my Printer
Rarely do I buy something online that fails to work, but it has happened a couple times
So now... I ordered another type Speaker System from Walmart and I'll give it another try

And... My new Tomato Seeds didn't arrive, maybe today, and that was all the action for Wednesday

Finished out the Day with TV and another good Dinner, now what's today? Thursday again?
Two more Days until Pay Day... Hoo Ray!

~ Lettuce Experiment Step Three ~ Into the Soil ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well when did I Plant the Lettuce Nub in Water? Friday? Looked like it was ready for the Soil on Tuesday
So first thing I got a Spoon, dug a hole, poured the Water from the Bowl into the Soil and in with the Lettuce
Looks real neat now, and when can we do that with the Celery Nub?, looks like it just started to sprout now
And I thought I would just stay with the Lettuce, Onion, and Celery in that Planter, now thinking maybe a Fourth Plant

Ok then off to get some Gas and Lottos... Only a $10 Win on the Scratchers but Pay Day is Saturday... AHA!
Back home and a run out back to see what was going on and not much there either, Radishes bolting, doing nothing
Just about what I expected but I thought it was worth a try with the leftover Seeds, pulled them all up and tossed them
There are a lot of Peppers on the Pepper Plants now, I'll let them get a bit bigger, more nice looking Green Tomatoes too
And one little fat Cucumber in the original Cucumber Bed, a couple more little ones coming maybe and that will be it

~ Is This Little Fatty big enough to Count? ~

OK... one more Idea... I still have the Grow Light from the Failed AeroGarden they replaced...
And an empty Shelf in the Kitchen... what about something to go in there? Those little Pepper Seeds are on the Way
Saying they won't be here until October 20 or later, will be time then to empty some Planters out front
Thinking of using one of those Planters for the little Peppers when they show up then use the old Aerogarden Light

~ The new Home for the Mini Peppers when they get Here? ~

Then at 2 p.m. Let's plant something else... I thought I still had some room in the latest Planter Experiment
And I had a nice big Sweet Onion, so I cut off the Bottom, trimmed it and planted it next to the first one
OK, now three Plants in the Soil, when the Celery gets the move on... I'll plant it too

Then 2:30 p.m. Wonder if my Tomato seeds are here yet? Headed up that steep hill, gets steeper every year
The Mail was there but no Seeds, Tomorrow maybe? But there were Two 'Rewards' in the Mail Box
One from AARP, a little Plastic snap Box, flips open to hold about 10 Credit Cards... I sure didn't need that
But a better one from from AT&T... Says go online to collect your Reward... What's that?... A $200 Debit Card!
My Reward for changing over to Direct TV and I should have the Card within Three Weeks they say... Whoooopeee!

Then.... Margarita time and I hadn't done much but I did need some winding down time after that Hill climb
So then I wound down... And then made a fresh Salad, with that dinky Cucumber, a Mexibell Pepper off the Plant out front
A Tomato from out back, some of that Lettuce I bought for the Experiment and some Sseet Onion from the Price Chopper
Topped with sme Buttermilk Ranch dressing and finished off with a TV Movie... another good Day... Yeah

~ Monday again ~ I Like Mondays ~ More Seeds Coming Today ~
~ Planted more Cucamelons~

~ Lettuce Experiment Working ~ Here on Saturday and Monday ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Monday... new Day new Week... and a Project planned but it will be later in the Day, Mini Tomato Seeds coming
But before they get here I can add Water and Nutrient to the Gardens, then just slip in the Seeds
Well, it wasn't so much later in the Day, I trotted out to the Kitchen at 7 a.m. Filled the Grow Bowls with Water
Added Nutrient, set them on the Top Shelf, arranged the Electric Connections. all set when the Seeds arrive

Then I was cruising online to see what you could do with the Mini Watermelons I planted Sunday
A lot more than I thought, I thought they would just be a Cute Plant to grow amd look at, here's what they say

~ Those Melon Babies ~

"A Cucamelon is a tiny watermelon lookalike originally from Central America that are enjoying their spot in the limelight
Home gardeners are captivated with the look of these jewel-like melons
And then often fall completely in love with their crisp, crunchy, cucumber-tinged-with-lime flavor
After you’ve gotten your fill of fresh Cucamelon in salads, salsas, as appetizers in bowls of assorted olives
And as garnishes for high-brow Martinis, save some for the winter months with a delightful pickled cucamelon recipe!"

So that's just great... I hope I can grow a ton of them, even put one in my Margaritas... Yeah!
Now if the ones I planted only do well, I have Eight more Seeds, need a place to plant them now

~ Cucamelons Seeds Planted Sunday ~

And I don't sit arunnd too long thinking about it, I had two more Pots outside, smaller but maybe they will do
I had some larger ones but they wouldn't fit where I wanted them, then I planted Eight more Seeds
And if they Germinate and grow, I'll add cords for them to climb up in the Shelf

Not too much going on Monday afternoon, just puttering around with this and that, then doing something in the Kitchen
I went to add Water for a Plant ans reached for the Faucet, oooops, what's that wiggling from my Strainer on the Tool Rack?
It was a Snake and ite was glaring at me for disturbing it I suppose, well it's my Strainer and my Sink... GO AWAY!
So I got my Kithen Shears to grab it... it backed up and then jumped at the Shears and then fell on the floor
So I stepped on it and then clipped off it's head, Snakes don't belong in my Sink, so go away

~ That Evil Monster above my Sink ~

I was pretty sure what kind it was, but I looked online to check, they had an exact photo of it there
It was a 'Garter Snake' which they say is mildly Venomous but actually harmless to humans
Harmless or not...I want no snakes of any kind in my place, they are all creepy to me...

Then the last effort at my planting project, I trotted up the Hill to the Mail Box, some letters but no Seeds
Well, maybe Today, then on to Afternoon, Cocktail, TV and finished the Day with Dinner and a Movie

~ Mini Melons Seed Delivered on Saturday ~
~ Planted them Sunday Morning ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ New Seeds ~ Now what to do with These? ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Lots of bizzyness lately, start the Days with no plans and end up with a busy Day after all
But today I do have another Kookie Idea floating around in my Head... Now let's see what happens
I have that start on Diane's Facebook idea, that changed the Kitchen Garden look around for sure
Now I have more Mini Tomato Seeds coming on Monday and I have those Mini Melon Seeds now to do something with
Thinking I just might start with those Mini Melon Seeds today, if I have all I need to start on it

~ New Mini Melon Seeds Planted ~

And I started to do that at 9 a.m. Sunday Morning and all done by 9:20... what about the rest of the Day?
My only Plan for the Day completed was before Breakfast and then a long and Rainy Day ahead
I woke up during the night to hear pouring Rain, well that will be good for out back but I just watered
And still raining at 10 a.m. when I headed out for my Lottos and some Milk for a late Breakfast

Later the Rain stopped and I took a hike out back to check things over, things looked good
The Cantaloupe in the Tomato Cage is still looking good, the new Radishes too but I see no bulbs
I found one big Fat Cucumber hiding and two small ones, that now brings the usable total to 100
And I picked 17 more Tomatoes in various stages of ripness, that brings that total to more than 200 now

~ Harvest for Sunday Morning ~

And then what? The gardening this Year (well from last Setptember when I bought my first AeroGarden) has kept me busy
I kept busy all Winter with my Indoor Gardens and now all of the 2016 Season with Indoor and Outdoor Gardens
So Sunday afternoon what about all those Tomatoes? Some not fully ripe and some with defects but still usable
I sorted out all the defective ones, trimmed them well, tossed them in the Food Processor and ground them up
Then into a storage Container, about a Pint or so and into the Freezer for some use later, always can use Tomato Sauce

And then... as usual, Margarita Time... What happened to the Manhattans after 50 Years, well my Tastes do change as time goes by

~ Visiting 'Sandals' in the Living Room on my TV ~

Then I took a Vacation in my Living Room with my Margarita and TV, then found a Movie to go with Dinner
And ended the Day with another Andre Rieu Concert... Yeah, who wants to go to Heaven, I am living there now

~ Some Garden Changes in the Kitchen Again ~
~ Started a new Garden Experiment ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ New Shelf for my New Experiment ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And another busy Day, where do these kookie Ideas come from, another Garden experiment!
My Facebook friend Diane in California posted a Video showing plantings of parts of Vegetables
Like the Green Onion stubs I planted as an experiment last Spring and produced little
But the fun is in the trying of something that just might work... So I started Friday
Bought a head of Romain Lettuce and cut off the bottom two Inches and set it in a Bowl of Water
They say to let it sit in the Water for about Five Days and then plant in Soil... but where?

OK I need a Planter... I have Potting Soil and Spagnum Moss already, and where do I put it anyway?
The Shelf in the Living Room is already full and the Shelf in the Kitchen is too small so off we go
I stopped in at Walmart for the same kind of Shelf that I have in the Living Room, a nice one
They had the same one but only in Black, I like the Zinc color better but they didn't have any
Anyway I lugged that one out to the Blazer and then headed next door to Lowes for a planter
Found a nice one for a nice Price, then headed back to the Ranchito to play the rest of the Day

Got to work then, took the stuff off the small Kitchen shelf, started assembling the new one
Guessing on the Height where I wanted to set the Planters and Aerogradens, So bottom Shelf on the bottom
The second Shelf at 27 Inches for the Planter, the Third Shelf at 18 inches higher to give the Plant room to grow
Also to set the Grow Lights on top of the third Shelf... Then the fourth 4 inches more above the lights
That gave a place to set the two Aerogardens where I will plant the Mini Tomatoes when the seeds arrive

~ New Indoor Garden Experiment on the Way ~

OK, time to plant... Out front to load the Planter with Potting Soil and Spagnum, back in to set it on the Shelf
I already had the Lettuce in a Bowl, so I cut the bottom two Inches off a bunch of Celery and into another Bowl
I set those on top of the Soil in the Planter to wait that five Days to plant, next an Onion
They show the bottom of an Onion sliced off, trim the sides and plant in the Soil, I cut the bottom off the Onion
Then I just set it on top of the Soil for the Photo, then I trimmed the sides, flipped it over and planted it

And that about wound up my new Garden Experiment Day, time for that Afternoon Margarita and what's for Dinner?
Now guess what? ...I'll show you in my Sunday BLOG the next nutty ldea I have after receiving more new Seeds on Saturday

And if you want to take a minute, you can Click on this Link and see what this Idea is all about

~ Watered and Harvested Out Back ~
~ Made more Pickles ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Harvest for Friday Morning~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Hooked up the Hose and headed out back to water everything, and the Garden needed it for sure
I soaked everything real well, then checked for Cucumbers, I thought I might have maybe three more ready
I found five of usable size, they haven't quite quit for the Season, and also one more Tomato
Back inside by 9 a.m. Now what do I do with those Cucumbers, had a few more in the Fridge too

~ Picked Five ~ There were Three in the Fridge ~ What to do with these? ~

Looked to me like at least one more Pint of Pickles, I already gave most of the first ones away
Checked the Fridge, I had some Bread and Butter Pickle Brine there, also some Poblano Relish Brine
They have mostly the same main Ingredients and that looked like enough for what I wanted to do

So I put the Brine in the Pot to simmer to boiling while I sliced up all the Cucumbers I had
Then the Cucumbers in the Pot with the Brine, heated them up to the boiling point
Then spooned the Pickles and Brine into the Jars, had just enough to make two more Pints
Now wait a Week to taste and see what this Brine experiment made of the latest Pickles

~ Put them in the Jars of Course ~

So then, I have some Mini Tomato Seeds coming next Week, thought I would get some grow Pods ready for them
Got out my Sack of Spagnum Moss and empty Pods and filled them, then watered them to set the Moss ready to plent

~ New Pods waiting for Tomato Seeds ~

Then I got a Call from my 'friend' Kelly who likes to rattle on and on about some boring subject
This time it was some LED Bulbs he bought and was playing with... Ho Hum, I know all I want to about LEDs
Anyway, I listened, totally uninterested, and set about making an animated .gif of all my Tomato harvests
And had it finished and posted to Facebook before he finished with his boring drivel... Ho Hum
So take a look and count fast, how many Tomatoes so far this year? Well... over 170 and still growing!

~ Over 170 Tomatoes for 2016 ~

And then... I was checking around on Facebook, Diane, my friend in California had posted another way to plant inside
A Video showing ways to use the throwaway parts of Vegetables the way I tried with the Green Onions stubs
Two looked like something I wanted to try, the bottom of an Onion and the bottom of a head of Lettuce
Well yeah, I can try that, I got a head of Romain Lettuce from the Price Chopper, cut two Inches off the Bottom
Then set it in a bowl with Water in the Bottom, later you move to a Planter with Soil, I have to go get a Planter now

~ New Lettuce Stub Experiment ~

And that was about all the Garden activity for the day, on to the afternoon TV and what's for Dinner
But the front Plants still needed to have a good watering, so late Afternoon I went back out
I spent plenty of time watering everything really well, they were a bit overdue and some needed a lot
And that really then... was that... and in for Dinner and some TV to get me sleepy for bedtime

~ More Lettuce Seedlings ~
~ Checking out the New TV ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Four out of Seven Pods have Seedlings ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Thursday Morning... What today? An early start checking the new indoor Lettuce Crop, doing good
Three Days now and Four of Seven Pods Germinating, I got this Photo first thing
Then got my Coffee, checked the Bank, checked Facebook, checked Email, some Chat with Sigi
Then started playing with the new TV, getting signed in on Netflix and Vimeo on the new Box

~ New TV for the Computer Room ~ Wouldn't do what I bought it for ~

Found out it won't do just what I bought it for but it does have other uses that I like
This ~IS~ a great sharp little TV! Now happy I have it and there is one instant advantage I tried
I can check out my Videos as they are uploaded to Vimeo without heading to the Living Room TV... like here:

~ Opening Titles for my Garden Video ~

And still fooling around with the TV and Computer until about 10 a.m. Time to hit the Road
Off to the Price Chopper to trade in $25 worth of winners and won back only $20... no way to fly
Back to the Price Chopper to trade off my $20 Winner and then lose it all... That's the name of MY Game

And so... it was sunny and very warm and I should have watered some, back and front Plants need it
But it was just on to a nothing much Afternoon and Evening but pleasant inside anyway
I finished the three Hour long old Movie... 'It's a MAD MAD MAD MAD World' that I had recorded from TCM
I saw it the Year it came out on a trip to California in 1963 and at the Pacific Cinerama Theater in Hollywood
The Theater had just opened in 1963... Several of the Actors in the Film were there, two just two rows behind me

~ I Saw the Movie in this Theater in Hollywood the Year it opened ~

So then for Dinner, still had some Red Cabbage to go along with a baked Potato and Grilled Brat
And that was pretty much all she wrote for Thursday, and here comes another Weekend

~ Lettuce Crop is Germinating! ~
~ Picked Eight more Tomatoes ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ First Pop Up in AeroGarden 5 on Tuesday afternoon ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Surprize, surprize! I was showing Pat my home constructed Seed Pods in AeroGarden 5 Tuesday afternoon
Took off a 'Grow Dome' and there was a little Green Dot in the Pot! Second Day after planting!
The Photo here is on Wednesday Morning, can see two Plants there, one will have to come out

So, another pretty Day, Sunny and Warm, headed out to the Price Chopper for a couple things
And a few Lottos, bought $20 worth with a Tuesday $20 Winner, won $20 back, no profit there
Then back to take a Trek out back to see what was what... Radishes look like they're starting to bolt
I just have no great luck with Radishes... ever, looks like... But I found a HUGE Cucumber in the Tomato Bed
Right at 8 Inches, the perfect size for a Straight Eight type of Cucumber and it's number 92, will I get 100?

~ Nice big Cucumber ~ That Wayward Cantaloupe ~

Then poking around I saw a Cantaloupe hiding in the Tomato bed, climbed through the end Netting
Then found Eight more Tomatoes nearing ripeness, have to find something to do with those, Tomato Sauce?

~ Eight More Tomatoes ~ Maybe make Tomato Sauce ~

Waiting then for a new TV I ordered a couple Days ago, trying to get the Signal into my TV tuner for the Computer
With my AT&T U-Verse I could record a program to my DVR, then from the DVR into the Tuner, can't do that now
So a couple things I can try and the TV is the first one, good for a spare anyway, that I can take outside on a nice Day

OK what next, what about those newly Harvested Tomatoes, had a few on the Table waiting also
Got out my Food Processor, chopped up the Tomatoes, into the Pot and then half a big Onion
Then found a couple of Poblano Peppers in the Fridge, chopped them up and added to the Tomatoes and Onions
Then added Salt, Sugar and some Herbs and into the Pot to simmer down, this will be a Tomato cooking Sauce, not Salsa

~ That Tomato Sauce ~ Tastes like Spicy Ketchup ~

And Waiting, Waiting and more Waiting, UPS Man slow on Wednesday, no hurry for the TV but other things to do
The Big Brown Truck showed up just a bit after 3 p.m. and I set up the TV to try it out
Decided to set the TV where I had my spare Printer, hardly ever use that one, was thinking of selling it to a friend

Sent him a Facebook Message, you want a Printer? Sure he says... So more waiting to hear when he wanted me to deliver it
So I got a Message again a litte later... He says 'Sounds Good' So I headed over there about 3:30, traded in a Winner Ticket for $5
Then he gave me Five more, Four were to pay for the Printer, then out to drive to his Car, he loaded the Printer and I headed Home
Scratched off One $5 Winner, lost the other $20... And my Friend Rion got a $150 Printer for $20, but I got rid of it anyway

Then back to play with my new TV, hooked it up and checked it out, found it would not do what I mainly bought it for
But before it got here I was checking online and found it probably would not, needed a HDMI out which very few TVs have
But I believe now I know what I do need and evreyone is out of stock at the moment... A Hauppage 'Colussus' TV Tuner Card
I don't need that right away and don't use that feature much anyway, but just another fun gadget to play with

And on to the rest of that busy and fud Day, mixed a later than usual Margarita and then found something for Dinner
Now stating on a new Thursday... Where did this Week go so fast anyway? Another Weekend looming up...

~ Another AeroGarden Crop Planted ~
~ A Visit from a Friend ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Garden 4 Resurrected and Planted with Swiss Chard ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And off on a bright warm Morning to find my Fortune, this time to the Price Chopper
Traded in $20 worth of Yesterday's Winners to buy $20 more Tickets and back home to win $40
So that is a $20 Profit, should I sit on that or go try for more, well stay tuned for that

And no plans again but I just get Ideas, was thinking about those Three empty AeroGardens in the Kitchen
So, what to plant in those? I thought I would try some Mini Cherry Tomatoes again, just for fun
The ones I tried really didn't do much but were fun to watch them try, so I got online and ordered Seeds
15 Seeds for $1.90, a ton cheaper than ordering a Seed Pod Kit from Aerogarden or Walmart...
And I am already trying my home constructed Seed Pods, let's do some more

I still have a lot of Seeds here, what might be good to try? Decided to plant Swiss Chard in Garden 4
That is a 6 Pod Garden, just might make a Crop big enough for one Serving anyway, I started on that
So, out to the Kitchen, filled Six empty Grow Pods with Spagnum Moss, added two Seeds to each
Added a little Water to dampen each Pod, set them in the AeroGarden 4, added Water and Nutrient and GO!
Now when the new Mini Tomato Seeds arrive I'll plant them in AeroGardens 1 and 3 and we're back in action

~ The Latest look at the Living Room Gardens ~

And then around Noon, I got a call from my friend Patricia, hadn't been visiting for some time now
She wanted to come over fot a catch-up chat and there was a lot of that to catch up on
Hadn't finished my Morning Routine even at Noon, so I hopped to that, shower, shampoo and shave
A little Breakfast after Noon and my guest showed up about 1:30 and another Afternoon of Show and Tell

And we can talk endlessly about a lot of things, and then a catch up on Photos, BLOGS amd Videos
And a Musical interlude playing some Classical Music of which I am an aficianado... (really)
Finally the party ran down about 4:30 p.m. I then gave her a couple Pints of Pickles, a Pint of Salsa
A Pint of Relish and some frozen Enchiladas I had stored away in the Freezer, but still tasty...

Then to the rest of my Day... Not much more than hotting up some dinner and watching some more TV
Now... what Day is this? So busy lately and I can't even remember what happened the Day before
So that's why I try to write everthing down before I forget it... Getting old does have some negative sides too

~ Made a short Video of the Bing Browser ~
~ Picked a few more Veggies ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Bing Browser Monday Morning ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I didn't mention on my busy Sunday BLOG that I thought I would move my Patio Table and Chairs
The Table was up against the Wall and not giving much room for the Chairs alongside

~ Moved the Patio Table and Chairs out toward the Garden ~

And I do like that arrangement a lot better, better seating ease, closer to the Garden, more room to walk by
And on to the Computer, flipped on the Internet, saw a couple of Parrots on the Bing Browser and they talk
I thought that was kind of cute so I made a cule little Video and had it online in 25 Minutes or so, yeah I am fast!
Then I posted it on Facebook, got a couple of 'Likes' and now here you can take a quick peek

And then? Bright Sunny and cool Morning, just gorgeous all over again but warming to 90 Degrees
No plans for the Day like most always, but let's see what comes up, first off for some loser Lottos
Only won $5... Can't win 'em all and I pretty well prove that, well, maybe tomorrow, got some Draw Tickets too

Then took a hike out back, I check back there most every Day, never know what I might find, Monday not much
The Radishes look better, but still all leaves, don't see any Radishes yet, not betting on it

~ Radishes Maybe? ~

I did find one more little Cucumber, Number 92 and a few more that might be ready in a day or two
Three more Tomatoes, not many lately but more coming along and they will keep on until the first Frost
Then I will pick all that are left, 'Fried Green Tomato' time maybe, I have plenty of Green Tomato Relish now

~ Cucumber Number 92 and a few Tomatoes

Back in front, checked the Poblano Pepper plant in the Pot, I picked all the earlier ones to make Pepper Relish
Now showing a comeback with Seven more Peppers on there now and still a month or so of the Season left for more

~ Hard to see in the bright Sun but I counted Seven Poblano Peppers ~

And so, I had that $5 Winning Ticket, thought I would go back and trade it in, then won $20 back, will use that today for more
And on into the Afternoon getting HOT and Muggy! No Veranda sitting for Monday Afternoon for sure...
Nothing much going on the rest of the Day, decided to order another TV for the Receiver in my Computer room
My Computer TV Tuner will not work woth the new Receiver, maybe I can figure out something with the TV

To wind up the Day I made a fresh Salad with the Cucumber and Tomatoes I harvested, added a Mexibell Pepper and Onion
Topped with Buttermilk Ranch Dressing, went well with my Pork Chop Taters and Broccoli

And another pleasant Day for Monday and now a try at a nice Tuesday... Let's go win that BIG ONE!

~ Moved Garden 7 to the Top Shelf ~
~ Planted Lettuce in AeroGarden 5 ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Jalapenos moved to the Top Shelf ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And again, sipping my Wine, watching TV Saturday evening... Looking at the AeroGardens and getting more Ideas
The one on the top shelf, now empty after moving the Mexibells outside, what next?
Well, those two twin Jalapeno Crops would look better up there, so down with the empty one
I had to empty the Water first... well over a gallon in there and it was heavy so I did that
The water was full of Nutrient so I dipped it out into a pitcher and then dumped it in the Pots outside
That should keep the Mexibells Plants happy in their Pots for some time

So then I just slid AeroGarden 6 over to the right side of the Shelf, next the AeroGarden 7 Mexibells
The grow bowl there was full of Water too so I got a little tubing to siphon it out
Next lifted the Garden up to the Shelf and poured the Water back in... Now that looks a lot neater...

Now I have another empty AeroGarden, what to plant next in that? No Idea for now, I'll think about it
And also those three empty AeroGardens in the Kitchen, well Winter is on the way, I'll think of something

~ Now what to do with this empty Aerogarden? ~

So, thinking what to plant... My most successfiul crops were Jalapenos and Lettuce, so more Lettuce
I already have two Gardens with Jalapenos growing now... Need Lettuce Seed Pods, well online they cost too much
I already started new Crops with my own Seeds and leftover grow Sponges, decided to try that for lettuce
But I had no more Sponges but lots of empty Pods... Well all that's in a Sponge is Spagnum Peat Moss, that's cheap
Decide to try that and off to Lowes for a sack of that... and some Lettuce Seeds to plant, two kinds
Online, 7 Lettuce Seed Pods are priced about $15 or more, I can do better than that... Lettuce Seeds are around $1.50 a pack
I could buy an 8 quart sack of Spagnum Peat Moss for $5.00... that would fill 100 Seed Pods or more, I did that
Got two packs of seeds and a sack of Peat Moss and back to start the process... and so easy! (if it works)

And so, I got Seven empty Seed Pods out of my Pantry, stuffed them with Peat Moss, planted Lettuce Seeds in the top
Filled the Empty Grow Bowl with Water, added Nutrient and set the Pods in the Grow Bowl places... Voila!

~ AeroGarden 5 now Planted with a new Lettuce Crop ~

Then a just perfect Weather afternoon for a Glass of wine out front in what is now turning into a flower Jungle
Then got an Andre Rieu Concert on my Phone to have Music with my Wine and the Birdies singing along
A pleasant Hour or so outside tnen back inide to finsh the Day with Dinner and TV

~ Camping in the Jungle out Front ~ A Concert along with the Birdies Singing ~

And now... Monday is here, a new Week of non-ending Adventures in my Parkville Heaven

~ Herb Harvest Day ~
~ Pepper Plants Transplant Day ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Nice Way to Start Saturday ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A cloudy start for Saturday but partly Sunny and going to 81 they say, that's great, had too much Rain
First thing... I received another Windows 10 Insider Update... I had a little bug show up since the last one
Want to see if this Update fixes that, minor but a bother anyway... Didn't show up on the other Dell Desktop

Bright and Sunny and off to the Minit Mart for Lottos, how nice... a $100 and $5 win, that's the way I like it
Then back home and out front to start harvesting the Herb Crop, haven't done that lately
I think they are done for the Season, I don't want to bring them in and I have a lot of Herbs anyway

~ Mint ~ Sweet Basil ~ Cilantro ~

Went out front to have a comfy seat and snip my Herbs, I sure like the big Basil Leaves best
The other two Pots had Plants with dinky Leaves, hardly worth the minor effort but it was done quickly

And then I started on the tranplanting of the Peppers and it went fast, maybe Twenty Minutes?
I dug out the Dahlias that were in the Pots, mostly finished for the Season anyway, didn't do very good
Then I dug a hole to the bottom of each Pot, went in to bring out the Pepper Plants one at a time
Then carefully set the Plants in the Center of the Pots and filled in around the Roots with Soil
Now I'll watch the Temps close as the Weather cools and bring them inside if gets too cold

~ The Mexibell Peppers Inside ~ and Outside in their new Pot Homes ~

The Potting and Harvesting done, back out to clean the old Plants out of the Pots and save the Soil
Now as the Season closes... more empty Pots out front... Then back in to start drying the Herbs to store
First I rinsed the herbs then laid them out on Towels to absorb the Water, then the Mint in the Fridge to stay fresh
And the Cilantro and Basil into the Oven to dry, then store in containers to use whenever the Recipe calls

~ Mint ~ Cilantro ~ Basil ~ Ready to Store ~

Then it was past my afternon Cocktail time but I didn't want to have that before I drove over to I-435
Rion gets to work at 4 p.m. and I headed that way and got there just at that time, he was there
He gave me a sack of loser Lottos and his Computer Payment, we had a little Chit-chat and I headed back
Then it was time for my Margarita and some Dinner, Pork Chop, Tater and Broccoli pepped up a little with Mint
I was checking on Recipes to use fresh Mint, I read about Broccoli with Mint and tried that, quite nice

More Evening TV with my new System and then that was all for Saturday, now Sunday to use up...

~ Another Rainy Start for Friday ~
~ Another Aerogarden Transplant Project? ~
~ AT&T U-Verse TV replaced with AT&T DirecTV ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Mexibell Leaves crowding toward the Grow Light ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Woke up at 4:30 a.m. on Friday and got up, a little early but when ya gotta go... ya gotta go
Mixed my Apple Juice and put the Coffee on, started on my Computer stuff and what's that noise?
Not loud, just a mild shushing noise, is it raining again? Took a peek, yeah just pouring down
Had that heavy rain on Wednesday, a nice Day Thursday and now the Streets awash again on Friday Morning
And that might be good for the new Radish crop, and I won't have to water anywhere for a couple Days at least

So, what about that new Mexibell Pepper Project? Might be too wet out there to do that today
And it might not be a good idea but I don't like what the Plants are doing in the Aerogarden now
Looks to me like the Leaves need more Light and need to spread out to get it, so on with the nutty Idea
Some of my experiments have worked rather well, some just gave up and failed, but worth a try I think

Since I picked most all the Poblanos off that Plant I put out front it hasn't been blooming much if any
And the Two Mexibell Plants out there haven't produced much more either, thought I would dump the Mexibells
Then put the two new Mexibell Plants now in the AeroGarden out front in those Pots

On to another Project but not by me, AT&T is scheduled to install 'Direct TV' this morning at 9 a.m.
I have had AT&T U-Verse TV ever since it started in my Area and quite pleased with it but they kept raising Prices
All the Cable and Satellite Companies do it, start you off with an introductory Price and then keep raising it
Every time AT&T has done that I call and they worked something out for a while then it goes up again
The last Bill I got was a whopper, price went way up and I called to complain and the guy in India said he fixed it

But then the next Bill was even higher so I got online to chat with an AT&T Rep, he said to call the 'Loyalty Group'
I called, waited a long time, then talked to a Supervisor and he offered several suggestions...
AT&T had bought 'Direct TV' and has been boosting it and offering a cash Bonus, but I liked my U-Verse
But this guy said I could get as good a Program Package as I now had and at a much lower cost
So I signed up for that, they are coming to swap out my present Equipment and install the new today
And I do hope I can be as happy with the new arrangment as I have been with U-Verse (except the Cost)

So... I headed out earlier than usual to get my Lottos, wanted to get everything done before the AT&T guy showed up
This time to the Price Chopper, won $25 on Three Tickets and lost on One, that's a $5 Profit for the Day (so far)
Then I ran around unhooking the Three Receivers for my AT&T TV, waiting for the new Direct TV install at 9 a.m.

The AT&T guy called a little after 9 a.m. and said he was on the Way, showed up and took a look around
Then had to run back to the Shop for something, their place is just a Mile up the Road back of the Price Chopper
Came back with a new Satellite Dish and started tuning it in out by the Rhubarb patch, then started on the Wiring
One thing I have to give up with this system is the wireless Receivers but that's really no big deal and costs less

~ New TV Dish, Tempoary Mount ~

The installation went on as I found some things to do on the Computer, entered a lot of loser Tickets
My Friend Rion at the Gas Station saves loser tickets that they check and throw away and they pile up
Kinda tedious but you can get some nice prizes with all those free points

So finally the Installation was complete, checked it out and I like it, I thought U-Verse TV was Great but this is better
Best is that (so far) it costs less and has more Channels and easier and better recording controls
On thing missing though is that my Computer TV Tuner won't connect to the TV Receiver they put in my Computer Room
The Tuner has a Coax input Connector and there is none on the back of the Direct TV Receiver, a small loss though
I would occasionally record a TV Program from the U-Verse DVR to the TV, for the present I can't do that now

So the rest of the Day was getting familiar with the new Remote and where my favorite Channels were
They all have different Channel numbers but easier overall as they only have three numbers
And one extra bonus is a $200 gift Card they will send in Six Weeks for signing up, that will buy a few Lottos

That was pretty much it for Friday, what now? Another Weekend? Let's get at it

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ Halfway through September ~
~ Picked Cucumbers ~ Made Dill Pickles ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ A few More little Green Jewels ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well this Month has sure been passing fast, so has every Month the last few years, time is speeding by for me
My Garden planted, Garden grows, Garden is harvested, Garden passes away but another new Day dawns
And what adventure does this Thursday hold? Again no plans at all at 7 a.m. But it looks like another good Day ahead

Just had an Idea though... Looks like the Cucumbers have about given up, how about a Slide Show of all the Harvests?
Doesn't look like much just showing a Day's picking at once but they did add up this Season... all those Pickles and Relish!
Ok, so I'll just finish my Morning Coffee as I start on that Project

And so... that didn't take long... Last sip of Coffee and the .gif was finished and uploaded to Facebook
Want to take a look, Cucumbers from April until September and still might get a few more, maybe a couple today
Count fast, how many can you see in those Photos... I counted 79, that would make a lot of pickles and Relish

~ Cucumber Harvest from April to September ~

And so, then I went chasing after the Rainbow, down to the Fast Stop and won a nice $10 and $25 Ticket
Took that back, put a twenty in my Pocket and bought more, this time I got a nice $40 one, that's it for Thursday
Ended up with more Money in my Pocket than I started out with... That's the name of the Game

~ I Like this Ticket ~ If You don't win on the Front, You might on the Back ~

OK, back at el Ranchito I headed out back just to check, the new Radishes looking better after the downpour
And I found quite a few more little Cucumbers hiding in there, Plants haven't quite quit yet
I need to add that Photo to my Animated .gif, if you can count these little ones it brings the count to 89
That is... the total number of 'Usable' Cucumbers I picked for the Season so far

And then what? Make some more Dill Pickles... I still have some Home Grown Dill I can use... on to Thursday's Project
The same old easy way I do it, I had the recipe I used before, this time the Brine a little different
I took a little liberty wth the Ingredients... We shall see if my Substitutes will work, they usually do
So, mix the Brine, put it in the Pot to Simmer, slice the Cukes, when the Brine is just at boiling in with the Slices
Then stir them around a little while they heat up to simmer, then spoon into the Jar... Wah Lah!

~ Just exactly enough Cucumbers for One Pint of Pickles ~

And that then looks like all she wrote for Thursday, on into the Afternoon and Evening with the usual routine
Sitting there on the Futon and watching TV, I noticed the Mexibell Pepper Plants were bunching up on top
What's going on there? these new Plants have huge oversize Leaves, looks like they were competimg for the Grow Light
So I got up and separated them some, they are growing fast now and lots of Blooms, but way too many huge leaves
And I have another Idea... but it is late in the Season and might be a mistake to try, but when did that ever Stop me?
Thinking of transferring them to Pots and get them outside for as long as the Weather holds... A Project for Friday?

Well that's it for this Day, let's get on to the next now

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ Wednesday, September 14, 2016 ~
~ A short Visit to the Coffee House ~
~ And... Made another Garden Video ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Two More Sweet little Maters ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A rainy Day on Tuesday. a stormy rainy Tuesday Night, more T-Storms and heavy rain Wednesday Morning at 6 a.m.
Well, the new Radishes out back would have liked that I believe, have to go check when the rain quits
And the Plants out front sure won't need any watering for a Day or Two, they were needing a little moisture

I didn't get the newly re-edited Video on my BLOG on Tuesday afternoon so I am adding it here
Just took another look at it... After 36 new fades I see I missed one, wonder if anyone will notice?
I might try to change that, but it will take some re-timing of the Finale, just to make ME feel better

My BLOG Tuesday then finished and Posted, Morning routine finished, time to headed down to the Coffee House about 8:45 a.m.
Grabbed my sack of Loot from the Fridge and took off, parked right in front of the Door
In to see Lewis at the last Table where he always conducts his morning Chats, two others there
The Greetings and then I sat down to give Lewuis his package, he reached for his Wallet, wanted to pay me
And I told him 'No Way Jose'... I do not accept payment for any of my Gifts, I am paid with their true gratitude
It was about 9 a.m. then, the others left, Lewis had an appointment so the short meeting was adjourned

So Iheaded back up the Hill and on tothe Fast Stop for my Mornng Lottos, only won $5 again, just not a good Month so far
And back home for a late Beakfast and what to do all the rest of that long wet Day?

Then, an Idea, the Plants out front are about at their maximum for this Season, been thinking of doing a catch up Video
The Rain had gone away, the Sky brightened and we were finally then getting some hazy Sun
And that hazy Sun that sneaked in would even out the contrast from the Sun and Shade, a good time to try the Video
So I backed my Blazer across the Street for more Camera room, toted my Camera and Tripod out front
And spent maybe twenty Minutes covering every view that I could think of, then back inside to edit

And that didn't take much time, I added an Intro and Finale and Music, rendered it and then uploaded to Vimeo
A ahort time later it was ready and I watched it on my TV, nice job, an Idea that came out OK

Nothing much doing the rest of the Day, I did hike out back to check things, all OK but all wet, nothing to Harvest
Radishes looking a little better, still not thinking I will get much of a fall Crop of them
I did pick a couple of ripening Tomatoes from the Plant out front, had to have something to show on here

On to Dinner time, another Hot Dog and Potato Salad was just right, then sipping a Glass of Wine and watching TV
TV was boring so I started watching my own Videos on Vimeo on my TV, the three Garden Videos I had made this Season
Another Idea, put them all togeher as One... HAH! Took my Vino Tinto back to the Computer, fired up the Editor
Added the three Garden Videos, did a little clipping, took the back gardens out of one and then rendered the Combo
Set the Video to upload to Vimeo, then back to the TV for some more Andre Rieu Concerting, a while later I checked the Upload
It was ready, so I played it back on my TV and that was just what I had wanted, to watch my Garden grow all season
The front Plants now just about at their peak, and as the weather cools all downhill from here
But that is the way that Mother Nature has it set up and we just have to go with the flow... and on to another new Day
