~ June Is Leaving Now ~
~ One more Medical Test on Thursday ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Welcome to Camp El Pato ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well now, a good night after the latest Dental experience, no pain since the Tylenol Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Had no great pain at any tme after that last Visit anyway, looks like a successful result from that ordeal
Now we wait for that to heal and try to figure how to pay for the replacement of those two Teeth
The prices the Dentist quoted were really way out of my ability to pay... How did Dental costs get so High?

Ok then, Thursday Morning... Firing up the Computer... Says 'Restart Required'... Aha another Windows 10 Update
So soon after the last one... Didn't see much new in that one... so I started the Install
That finally finished and I started writing my BLOG... But.. everything was crawling so slow
And some features of my HTML Editor wouldn't work, well that would certainly not do so I rolled it back
I had trouble similar to that on a previous update but the next one fixed it, now thinking of dropping the Insider Program

So what plans for the new Day, actually nothing until about 1 p.m. Another Medical Appointment
Still working on a fix for my Imbalance problem, nothing found so far to fix it, Two more tries scheduled
Today a trip to a 'Therapy' place for evaluation... I do not want any long term Therapy treatments
But they said there it would maybe help determine the cause... My personal opinion will be something else

And a late start for Outdoors, first a walk up the Hill in back to check the Crops, no Female Pumpkin Blooms
A couple Cucumbers coming on nicely, some big Tomatoes but not ripening yet, the Cantaloupes looking good
Then down the Hill and across the Street to get my Blazer and off to the Price Chopper
Got my Milk and Apple Juice, traded that $25 Lotto for $20 more, back to scratch off another $25 Win
And then, decided to give the back Garden Beds a good drink of Miracle-Gro to pep them up

Went out to hook the Miracle-Gro Sprayer up to the Hose, saw that a neighbor had set up a Tent back on the Hill
Probably the one that has the Canoe, just trying out the Tent... Then back in to turn on the Water
Then watered the Cucumber Bed, the Pepper Bed, the Tomato Bed and the Cantaloupe Bed with Miracle-Gro

And a catch up Photo of the Sweet Potato Vines, three at the Top now and more climbing, no place higher to go
Looks like a better crop of Potato Vines than the one in the Pot in 2014 producing Ten Potatoes in the Pot

~ Sweet Potato Vines over 12 Feet Tall ~

Then I dragged the Hose to the front on the Far side of the Building and down over the Wall of the Next Building
The hose was just not quite long enough for the Spray to hit the Plants I had planted over there I wanted to water
So I got my big Sprinkler can, filled and emptied it twice on the Plants, the heat had withered a lot of them

And then at 1 p.m. , the Event of the Day, to the 'Fun House'... Optimum Therapy and Performance Center
My Primary Doctor is sending me all over Town to try to find what my imbalance problem is, no one has found it so far
Had a MRI Brain Scan, a Doppler Carotid Ultrasound, Physical Therapy Exam, and Scheduled for an Ear Nose and Throat Exam
He had schedued another one at a Neurologist but I cancelled that Deal, had one last year that didn't help

So I checked in, filled out their Forms and then was diredted to a room by Brandi Jacksom, Doctor of Physical Therapy
There a lot of questions and then the fun began, stand there, do that, turn this way, do this and that
Lay on the Table, more turning, twisting, lift this, drop that, tighten your stomach and try this

And then that ordeal was over and I headed the two Miles back home to finish out the afternoon
A welcome Margarita after none Tuesday because of the Toorth Extraction, they said No Hot Drinks or Alcohol for 48 Hours
Well it wasn't 48 Hours yet but close enough for me, and then had a Glass of Wime or Two after that
That was about it for Thursday and the Last Day of June... Let's welcome in July on Friday... It is a double Pay Day!

~ Another Dentist Visit ~
~ Now Missing Two Teeth ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Tremont Dental Office ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And off on Wednesday Morning at 7:45 to see the Dentist, a couple Teeth had to go... Oh Woe
Well really doing better than most, had all but one original Tooth before I set out to remove Two more
So I hadn't had a Tooth removed since 1952 and that was in the USAF and don't know why they took that one then
Got there Ten Minutes early as usual but I was ushered right in to the Torture Chamber

I sort of remembered what the first Tooth extraction procedure was like but was a little uneasy about this one
But it went much better than I expected, not as much of a twinge as the last couple Root Canals I had
And the entire procedure went much faster than those with all that poking and grinding
So it was soon that I was asked to bite down on a hunk of Gauze and sent packing, was home by 8:30 a.m.

OK, forgot to mention Tuesday that I harvested the first 'Big Bertha' Green Pepper, well this Bertha was not very Big
But it looked like it wasn't going anywhere so I picked it, chopped it up in my Salad

~ My First Not so Big 'Big Bertha' Pepper ~

Then when I left for the Dentist on Wednedsday Morning I saw this Green Bug lounging on my new red Patio Chair
Looked it up online... Could it be a Katydid? Kind of looks like it to me

~ Big Green Bug on my Patio Chair ~

And then. a trot out back to check the Cucumbers I was watching on Tuesday, just about right
When they start getting bigger than these they get more Seeds and are not as crisp as the smaller ones
So, these are now in the Fridge, don't know whether I will crunch on them Today with those Teeth just out

~ Cucumbers Number Six and Seven of the Season ~

So on into a long Day, several 'Do not dos' on the list the Dentist gave me, like no Hot Beverages or Alcohol for 48 Hours
So no afternoon Cocktail to relieve the tedium of the Day, didn't feel like trying to chew anything
No pain until the numbing stuff wore off and then not much, took two Tylenol Extra Strength, worked great
And that was all I needed, the rst of the Day and all night... Super
Nothing much going on the rest of the Day, headed off late in the afternoon to see my Mechanic Friend
He had bumped something earlier that was making a rattle now and then, he said he would fix it
So I took him a slab of Spareribs and some of my Favorite BBQ Rub and set out, he fixed it quick and I headed back

Then what for dinner? Well nothing tough to chew so I made some Potato Soup... good tasty stuff too
I had a bowl of that with another Hunk of Cornbread, finished a Movie and hit the Sack

That's all of Wednesday of no importance... what Drivel can I dream up for Thursday?

~ A Cooler Day ~
~ And another 'Not Much Going' On Day ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ The Cantaloupes are Coming! ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A nicer Day, looked like at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 78 Degrees and a top of 84 maybe, I can handle that
Cloudy at 8 a.m. and I hooked up the Hose to go water in the Cool of Morning, next Building, Side and Back
So when I went out I felt some very light sprinkles, we going to get some Rain maybe? Well let's water anyway
Next Door first to water the Popcorn Roses and Boxwoods, then the side of my Building, Roses and Rhubarb
Then I saw a big bright Bloom up in the Pumpkin Patch, dragged the Hose up there... Nope another Male Flower
So I have the Pumpkin Plants a good drink and then down to the Cucumber Bed and lookee there!
Two good sized Cucumbers, looked like they might be ready to pick on Wednesday
Then watered the Cucumbers, next to the Pepper bed, wet down the Peppers, Eggplant, Chard and Cucumbers in there
Next the healthy Tomato Crop, doing good so far, maybe a good Idea to give them a Miracle-Gro pep up
Last the Cantaloupes and they are vining nicely, just might get some Melons out of there

And headed back in at 8:30 a.m. and big Raindrops began to splatter Down, Hey Hey! Some Rain?
Well that shower lasted only long enough to dampen down the Street and parking area
Jumped in the Shower, got my Shower, Shampoo and Shave, then about 9:30 a.m. heard a T-Boomer!
And took a look out front, a real Downpour in progress, see that's how to make it Rain...
Watered everything out front on Monday, everything out back on Tuesday and then the Rains came!

And so, we had a nice steady Rain for a half Hour, was beginning to let up about 10 a.m.
So then I headed down to the Fast Stop for my Lotto Fix, and won nothing... as usual lately
Then back Home for a late Breakfast and then... What's to do today?"... looked like a lot of nothing again

But on to the Day, the Temp was very nice, the Sun came in and out but still only 81 Degrees at 3 p.m.
I mixed my Margarita about 3 p.m. and then sat out front in one of my new Chairs to enjoy the Cocktail and the Weather...

~ I don't have to die to Go to Heaven ~ I live there now ~

So that was mostly it for the Day on Tuesday, pretty nice Day overall, nice cooler Weather
Finished off the Evening with another of those Lotto Prize Sausages on a Brat Bun, sure are good
Today, Wednesday, off to see the Dentist again and then, we shall see what the rest of the Day holds

~ A Ride for my Neighbor ~
~ Sprinkled Sulphur ~ Snipped Chard ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ My Place from the Neighbor's Deck ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Oh my... 67 Degrees at 7 a.m. Monday but going to 92 they say, but then the next 6 Days in the 80s
Looks like a nice Day anyway... Only plan was to snip some Swiss Chard... But first... off to the Price Chopper
Out the Door, a peek at my Tomato Plant in the Pot... HEY! Where did my ripening Tomato go?
Was right next to that Green One on Sunday, and turning Color, and now... It's gone bye bye!
First Tomato I have had stolen since some kids took some and splattered them about 8 Years ago
So far from this Years Crop I have given away more Tomatoes than I have eaten, they cudda asked me...

~ Who Ran Off with my Tomato? ~

On to the Price Chopper for my Lottos, only won back a $10 Ticket... Well there's always Tomorrow
When I got back, my Neighbor who works for the Price Chopper, reminded me he had to get a Blood Test
It was for later, I got a Photo of my Missing Tomato so I could post an Award on Facebook
Then I had another Cup of Coffee and headed to the Medical Place with my Neighbor

Made it over there, a couple Miles away went in and had a Seat, he was called in quickly
Then I had a pleasant Chat with another old guy waiting for something, showed him Photos and Facebook Stuff
Mike was done in record time, came out with a bandage on his arm, we loaded up ahd headed back
Stopped on the way back at Minit Mart to trade my $10 Winner for $20 of Losers, just my good luck

Then back home for what? Scratch my Losers and then head out back to spread some more Sulphur Powder around
I thought there were enough big Swiss Chard Leaves there to make a nice Serving but only clipped a few
But I had some already sauteed in my Fridge, I would just add the new Leaves to those to round out the Dish

On into another Hot Afternoon, had a Margarita and then hooked up the Hose and ventured out front in that heat
Started watering everything out front... And using a porch Chair to sit and water, the easy way
Worked my way across the inside on the Porch, then in the Center I had to venture out into ths Sun
Finally got to the Far end, shut down and poured a glass of Vino Tinto. noticed the old guy next Building was on his Deck
So I toddled over there to sip my Wine and talk about this, that and Phones, he has a Galaxy 6 too
But he didn't know how to do a few things, lots of things I don't know either but I look them up
And I saw his 'Auto Rotate' was off, wanted to show him how to turn it on but forgot how and couldn't find the way at the time
So when I got home I looked it up on the Internet... AHA... so simple, now I'll have to show him whenever

That was it for the Day except for Dinner, sauteed those Chard Leaves I just picked, added to some others already done
Put another Smoked Rib in the Oven, later had Smoked Rib, Cornbread and Chard, very tasty Dish again

That was all for Monday, nothing planned for Tuesday, but Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all have 'To Dos'
Starting with the Dentist on Wednesday, I'll get to the other events as they happen. for now, let's work on Tuesday

~ A Nothing Gardening Day ~
~ A Visit from My Neighbor Pat ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Green Onion 'Nubbins' becoming Green Onions ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Sunday Morning, 78 degrees at 6 a.m. and saying a cooler Day, back in the 90s Monday, but the rest of the Week in the 80s
And they said maybe some Showers late today, we need that but I am betting we don't get any
As usual no plans for the Day, but something will pop up as it usualy does, maybe start watering in front again?

And can you believe... on to 1 p.m. and I had not taken one Photo yet, that must be a record
Not much needed to be done in the Gardens, inside or out, besides it was HOT out there...
I did run off to Minit Mart for Gas and Lottos, then back to the Price Chopper to trade winners
The Tomato Plant in the Pot looked thirsty so I gave it a helf Gallon of Water... so that was all the Gardening up to 1 p.m.

And then a call from Patricia, my friend and neighbor, just returned from the Nature Sanctuary
She had done some more Volunteer Work that Morning, considers the Sanctuary an extension of her Garden
Said she had done enough outside work for the Day, wanted to come over, visit and catch up on the Chat

So down the Hill in her Truck about 2 p.m. I had waited out front in one of my new Red Patio Chairs
She joined me in another and we had a short Chat before climbing the Stairs and headng back for a Garden Tour
And then back in, a Margarita for me, a Dos Equis Cervesa for the Lady... and then to the Computer and TV
I flipped on the Laptop, mirrored the Screen to the TV and we did a catch up on my BLOG Photos
Then played a few of my Videos on Vimeo from the Laptop, then shut that down and mirrored my Phone for more stuff

And then back to the Smart Hub on my TV, this time to You Tube for an Andre Weir Concert
Those concerts go on for a couple Hours, flipped that off after a half Hour, then tuned in to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Played some of their majestic presentations and then on to some easier Stuff like Jim Reeves old somgs

So our Chat was mainly a Musical Afternoon, on to about 5 p.m. the Afternoon slipping into Evening
She was ready to head up the Hill, I gave her a red ripe Better Boys Tomato and off she went

I had sipped two Margaritas, not very Hungry but settled for a Lottos Prize Sausage and Tater Chips
That was enough for Dinner, then a Glass of Vino Tinto and finished with some more old Colombo reruns

And now.. Is this Monday all over again? Well two quiet Days then three busy ones coming, then Pay Day
So off we go... Into the Wild Blue Somewhere!

~ Two More Windows 10 Insider Updates ~ In One Day! ~
~ A Hot Day ~ Bought a New Flag ~ Picked a Tiny Cucumber ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ My Mexibell Pepper Experiment in AeroGarden 6 ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

First thing on Saturday, got the latest Photo of my Mexibell Experiment in AeroGarden 6, looking good
Not sure how Tall those Plants will get, sure do have big Leaves compared to the Poblanos in Garden 7

Then in to fire up the Computers, on the Dell One Desktop, I see a Notice...'Restart Required' AHA!
Another Insider update so soon, hardly seems like a week since the last one, anyway I started the Update on that one
Worked on Friday's BLOG on Dell Two, then the Update had finished on Dell One so I started it on Dell Two
That one finished up, then I started the Update on the old HP standby spare Desktop, next the Laptop

And then... Thinking about the 4th of July next Weekend, I usually hang out my two Flags and Flag Fans
And originally I would hang Two Fans in the Center with one American Flag in the Middle of those
But after a disagreement with the former Lady Tenant next Door I hung them all on my Side in 2015 and added another American Flag

~ Flag Fans in the Center 2013 ~ On My Side in 2015 ~

But now we have a new Tenant next Door, I think the Fans look better in the Center so I asked her
And she said fine, no problem, so that's the plan for Friday July 1st, and I wanted to add a third American Flag
So I headed over to Walmart, bought my third Anerican Flag Kit, mounted the base to the Post next Door... Ready now!

~ Three Flags for the front of the Building for Independence Day ~

Moving right along, then about Noon I got another Insider Update Message... Had just finished installing Build 14731
Now a few Hours later it wanted to install Update Build 14732... Musta been a Bug on the other Build
Anyway I got that Build Installed on my Dell Desktop Two, now had it started on Dell One and the HP at 1 p.m.
I hadn't got the new Build on the HP or Laptop yet, that's next

Sunny and Hot again, 92 Degrees at a little after 1 p.m. I wanted to see if I had another Cucumber yet so out in back one more Time
HAH! They said it was 92, felt more like 102! And not much success for the Trip, one dinky little Cucumber
But there are a lot more coming on, so I should have some nice ones in a couple more Days
This little Nubbin will make a couple Bites in a Tomato, Green Pepper, Onion and Cuke Salad

~ The Total Harvest for Saturday ~ But Lots more Nice Ones on the Way ~

So on that inspection trip I noticed several Tomato stems needed to be tied up, including the Neighbor's little Roma Plant
But the Sun was bearing down and it was really Hot back there, thought I would do that later
So I came back in, mixed a Margarita and cought op on the TV until about 4 p.m. when the Gardens get shaded
Back out then, shady and a slight breeze, not too bad, tied up the Roma Tomato and three Better Boys Tomato stems
And then back in to set up for Dinner for later, simmered a couple Ears of Sweet Corn, then cut it from the Cobs
Into a Bowl with Salt, Fresh Ground Black Pepper, some Butter on top and then set it aside for nuking later

How about a Salad then, cut up one of my red ripe Better Boys Tomatoes, then that little Cucumber
Added some Green Pepper Slices, and some Sweet Onion Slices sections, added Ranch Dressing and into the Fridge

~ Salad using my Fresh picked Tomato and Cucumber ~

Then the Day all used up except for Dinner, and I started on that, The last of the last Smoked Chicken... Tasty!
Some fresh Sweet Corn, Buttered Cornbread, and that fresh cut Salad, really good! That fresh Cucumber and Tomato really set it off

OK, now Sunday, let's get today out of the way and start on another Week... Tally Ho!

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ More Watering Done ~ On a Cooler Morning ~
~ Two Neighbors Tour my Gardens ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Green Onion 'Nubbin' Experiment Working So Far ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

First Photo for Friday... Catching up with the Green Onion Experiment and it's working
The first ones planted out back look ready to Harvest in a few Days maybe, doing OK so far
I had snipped all the Lettuce out of AeroGarden 4 a Day ago, cleaned it all up, empty now and ready
No plans for anything new in that one yet, maybe more Green Onions? We shall see, shall we not!

And another look at the Poblano Pepper in AeroGarden 7, looking good and growing fast now
The Tallest one was leaning a bit, tried to prop it up a little, the Pods don't give much support
Now setting Blooms, going to have Peppers already, well I will keep Checking
I was getting ready to hook up the Hose and trot out back to Water some more, heard a knock on the Door
Neighbor Lady from the next Building down asked if I had any Cucumbers yet, Yeah, Picked several so far
Want to go back see if any are ready?... Yep... And away we went, found Two nice ones, gave then to her
Then she asked if a Cucumber Plant could be grown in a Pot, well sure, but too late to Plant?
Maybe from Seed but a Transplant might work... and after her Garden Tour I gave her one of my Ripe Tomatoes and she headed Home

And then I thought... I had some extra plants I didn't need, give one to her? I dug one up and took it over
Knocked on the Door, You have a Pot, here's your Cucumber? Yes she did and I gave her the Plant and trotted back up the Hill

And then time for me to Water, headed up to water the Pumpkin Patch and then another Visitor showed up
The girl from the next Building up the Hill, who planted her own Roma Tomato with my Tomatoes, she took a look
Seems to be doing OK, has Four little Roma Tomatoes on it, she checked out my Green Onions, said she might try that
I showed her empty spots in my Garden Beds where she could put then if she wished... OK just might try that

~ Neighbor's Roma Tomato now Producing ~

She left and I finished watering everything back there and quite Thoroughly, the drought has set in after the Monsoon
Then back inside as the afternoon heat increased and I found other boring minor things to do
Next a Margarita, an afternoon of TV catchup and then back out to water everything out front
In this continuing heat wave the ground is drying up, the grass turning brown, the Gardens needing s lot more Water
After the watering the Evening progressed, a nice Dinner, a Glass of wine, a Movie and time to hit the Hay again

So now, Into another weekend so soon after the last one, time does fly when you are having Fun... Am I?
As soon as it got Light enough for a Photo I trotted down the Hill to see how the Cucumber Plant was doing

~ Cucumber from My Garden Bed ~ Now in Neighbor's Pot ~

Now off on another Saturday... No Plans, might not need to Water, nothing much needed out back
Ho Hum... another boring Day on the Way?

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ Wednesday... Hottest Day of the Year so Far ~
~ And another Busy Day for Me ~ Half of it anyway ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Living Room AeroGardens on the Way Again ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And so, early on Thursday Morning, another Hot Day ahead but not quite as hot, saying 92 tops
The TV Weatherman said it hit 100 in Kansas City on Wednesday but the highest in Parkville was 99... close enough

And back to the Mercedes again... Disappointed with State Farm, my Company... and American Family
I almost had a good offer there until the last Minute and then I walked out in a huff! A real one!
And with that additional cost of Insurance through the Policy I had at State Farm, decided to give the Car back

But I had several Bids for Insurance in an Email Thursday Morning, decided to check them out
Followed through with about three offers, none any better that what I already had... But then...
I sure do not like Flo, their TV Ad Rep, she is a pest! But I filled out the 'Progressive' Application anyway
And when finished, had the Best Offer yet, actually less with Two Cars than the Policy I have with one Car at State Farm!
So I signed up and Paid and I have Coverage on the Blazer, Mercedes and Renters for less than before... won out on that one

~ That Antique Mercedes Ready and Waiting ~

Then the latest peek at that climbing Sweet Potato Plant, now two Vines as high as they can climb
And many more Vines following, now all they can do is spread along the Rail up there

~ Sweet Tater Vine over the Top ~ Tomato Number Six ready to Pick ~

That second Tomato on the Plant in the Pot was just about ready so I picked it to ripen on the Table
Now Three nice ones there waiting for the next Salad or BLT, maybe that's a good Idea
~ Number Six on the Plate ~

And that was the only thing close to Gardening on Thursday, just puttering around inside the rest of the Day
Of course I finished that not quite as Hot Day with a good Dinner... aren't they all?
This time I made Hash from a left over KC Strip Steak, Green Pepper, Taters and Vidalia Onions
A side Dish of Sweet Corn cut from fresh Cobs on sale at the Price Chopper, and of course more Cucumbers

What now? Friday? A start watering more in back, then drag the Hose back around front for later
Another Weekend coming, then a busy three Days at the end of next Week, ending with the 4th Of July Weekend

So... Let's get out and do something... Anything...

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ Fresh Picked Cucumbers in Vinaigrette ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Sweet Tater Vine at the Top Deck Rail ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Out just before Sun Up on Wednesday, to Water everything before the Heat hit again, saying maybe 100 on Wednesday
First a peek at the Climbing Sweet Tater Vines, first Vine hit the Top Deck Rail, second only Two Inches to go
The Third is above the Deck, lots more below making the Climb up the Trellis now

Then on with the Hose and Water here, Water there, Water everywhere... Front, next Building, on the Side and Out Back
And finally way up on the Hill at the Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkins Vining but still not doing much

~ Three Better Boys Tomatoes ~ and a Straight Eight Cucumber ~

I saw one nice Cucumber, picked that, then Three Tomatoes, one each Small, Medium and Large
Have three Cukes in the Fridge now, time to slice and Marinate a Bowl for Dinner later
The little Tomato red Ripe, the other Two will take a Day or Two to ripen up on the Table

Lots of Cucumber Blooms on the Vines in the Cucumber Bed, found that one nice Cuke hiding in there
More Cucumber Plants are in the Pepper Bed climbing up the End Panels, looks a like a good Crop ahead

~ Lots of Blooms on the Cucumber Vines ~

The Tomato Plants in the Tomato Bed are really growing fast now, had to guide a few Vines to the Wire Trellis
And then next to the Tomato Bed the Cantaloupes are Vining now, and the second planting is doing well
Will soon have to guide the Vines to keep them from climbing out of the Cage and making Salad for the Deer

~ First Planting Blooming ~ Replacement Planting Catching Up ~

And then on the way back in... Got a Photo of that little orphan 'Knock Out' Rose I transplanted
It looks like it s getting happy in it's new home on that back Corner of the Building

~ Little Orphan Rose with a Bright new Bloom ~

And that was the Finale of the Garden work for Wednesday, time to work on some Dinner for later
I had the two little Cucumbers in the Freezer and the larger one I just picked, so let's make a Marinade
Marinade or Vinaigrette? What's the Difference... About the same ingredients... Vinaigrette is more like a fresh Sauce
And Marinade is used to let things soak a while, well I will just say I made fresh Cucumbers in Vinaigrette

~ Concombres frais en Vinaigrette ~

Then 2 p.m. and it says it is 98 Degrees out there, not exactly Veranda Sitting Weather
Time to mix a Manhattan... (I was out of Tequila) and catch up on that never ending Political TV
I have never been so disappointed in the Candidates ever... But will be interesting to see what happens
Maybe one of them will have a Heart Attack and that will save the World from Destruction...

Time for Dinner, more of the Smoked Ribs, Cornbread and those Cucumbers... Oh my my my!
Sliced, just harvested Cucumbers, Vinaigrette of Cider Vinegar, Sugan and Basil, just so crisp and delicious!

Only word for them, Herr Sigi Wulle, would be WUNDERBAR! And now on to Thursday

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

It was really more comfortable on my first outing of the Day, lower 80s heading to the Price Chopper
Bought $23 worth of Tickets, won back $15... Traded again and only won $10 back... Well, still have $10 to try again
But time for some Business, trying for a lower Price for my Mercedes Insurance, talked to my State Farm Agent
He couldn't do me much good, but I had an offer from American Family I wanted to check out

So I headed downtown to talk with the American Family guy and that didn't work out either
So, it looked like that spare Car would be costing me more than it was worth. I decided to give it back
It needed a new Windshield and the Insurance was higher than expected and then the hassle of the Tax and License
Well, the Blazer is still running and I like that old thing, so until I win the Big Lotto Ticket, that is it

So it was a pretty much nothing Day, no outside Gardening at all, just harvested the last Lettuce from Aerogarden 4
So, the Onion Nubbins are working in Gardens 1 and 3, nothing planned right away for Garden 4
The Peppers and Tomatoes in Gardens 5, 6 and 7 are doing nicely now, especially the Golden Harvest Tomatoes
Into a long and nothing afternoon and then Dinner, had another BBQ Rib, Cornbread and Wilted Lettuce
The Lettuce is running out, I have one bag of the latest Harvest in the Fridge and that will be all

So what then for Wednesday? Well they are forecasting another Hot Day, saying it might hit 100
Only thing I was planning was to water just about everything out there again... and off to the new Day!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Monday Morning, more super hot Weather on the way, first order of business, head to the Coffee Shop
I wanted to give Lewis Jonas my first Two Harvested Tomatoes, he got the first One last Year too
And he was at the Center of a full up Table... People from the Sanctuary and City Government
I gave him the Tomatoes, he gave me a big Grin and I took off for other places

Such as the Price Chopper for some Lottos which I then Lost again, just no luck the last couple Months
Back home to catch up on some Computer stuff and wait until time to head to my Endodontist Appointment
Checked in right at 11 a.m. my Appointment Time, sat down in the most uncomfortable Chair I ever sat in
No use to try another, they were all the same... So then the wait... and wait... and wait
One full Hour before I was called in at Noon, sat on the unconfortable Dentist Chair and the Exam began with an X-Ray
They had the newer Type where you could see the take in great Detail, see the nerves in the Teeth
I could see the one that had a previous Root Canal and the one next to it with the Problem

So he probed around tapping the Teeth with his little Mirror, found one Tooth cracked to the Base
He decided there was no advantage in a Root Canal, he said he would advise removing the Two Teeth
So they gave me a print of the X-Ray for my Dentist, Cost was $195, Insurance paid all but $80, I paid, then on my way
Next I have to check with my Dentist and get an appointment with an Oral Surgeon and more hassle
Well, I have survived with all but one of my original Teeth for 84 Years, I suppose I am lucky at that

Back home on that very Hot afternoon... Now back to that Patio set on the Veranda
It came with a Table, Four Chairs and an Umbrella but said I had to use it with an Umbrella Base
So I got online to Walmart, found one for $25 so tried to order it, they said hurry... only Two left
Then I tried to check out, said we are having a problem with your order try again later
Well I tried later many times and on Two Computers, no go, finally called Walmart online for Chat
They said I probably needed to clear my 'Cookies' which I did on both Computers and still no go

Well it was Store Pickup only anyway so I decided to run over to get it, got there and found the Two
Right there in the Garden Department, had a Cart but couldn't lift it, but there was an Employee nearby
He asked "need some help" Why shore... and he picked it up like it was nothing... Where did all my strengh go anyway?
Then I checked out and headed to the Blazer, I did wrassle that thing in the back and headed for Home

On to the rest of the waning Day, I had snipped off Six Green Onion 'Nubbins' the Day before
I was going to plant them up in the Garden Beds with the other 20 some growing there
But I had Two idle Aerogardens with Six Pods available so another Experiment, see if they would grow in those
Filled up the Gardens with Water and Nutrient, set the Nubbins in extra Grow Pods I had and away we went
Now this morning, Tuesday, I see they have already started to grow longer roots and some green is poking out of the tops
Looks like it just might work, see if they grow as well as the ones out back, Six there are almost ready to pull

~ Latest Green Onion 'Nubbin' Experiment ~
And then on to Dinner, I had picked up a KC Strip Steak at the Chopper for about half price, a $9 Steak for $5
I grilled that up nicely, hotted up some Wilted Lettuce and Cornbread and wasn't that a fine way to end a busy Day!

Now get outta the Way, I am off to use up another Hot Tuesday

~ Late Model Car in front of the Price Chopper on Sunday ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Woke up Sunday Morning thinking of the Videos and Web Pages I made for the Sullivan Nature Sanctuary
Then when the City took over the Parkville Nature Sanctuary Site they left them off their Site
So I thought I would construct a Facebook Page to put them back on the Net for anyone interested
I started working on the Page about 6:30 a.m. or so and had it on Facebook and ready at 8 a.m.
You can check it out (if interested) at
~ Sullivan Sanctuary Facebook Page ~

~ Lewis Jonas and Jim Reed at Sullivan Nature Sanctuary ~

Well now, that was a good Morning's worth. on to other things, like what? Well Lottos maybe?
But of course, this time to the Minit Mart, bought Two, lost Two, where are my Big Winners this month?
OK, on to another Hot Day... Now saying the next TEN Days in the 90s... Well, that will take a lot of watering

So, hooked up the Hose and headed out back, and the Garden Beds did need Water more than I thought they would
I watered everything quite thoroughly and then picked the first big Red Better Boy Tomato back there
And they don't get much bigger or better than that one... And I saw a couple of Small Cukes ready to pick
So I picked those Two and they do get bigger and better than those, but those were ready as they were
And then back around front and I harvested that big Red Better Boys Tomato fom the Pot, HAH!, Twins!

~ First Better Boys Tomato from the ~ And the First from the Garden Bed ~
~ And two Dinky Cukes ~

How Big is that Mater? Well that Big!

~ About as Big as Better Boys Tomatoes Get ~
Back inside at 1 p.m. and then what to do? Well water the Plants out front again later
And later I did that and the Plants were looking a bit wilty and perked up after that good drink
Might have to go over to the next Building on Monday and water again over there or around back again

So... My 'Veranda' Chairs and Bench were getting some age, thought about something to perk up the Porch
And then, I had seen a cute little Chair, Table and Umbrella Set at Walmart, wonder if they still had that?
Nothing else planned so I headed over there in that heat, and I mean HOT! And had to park FAR from the building
Trotted in and headed to where the Patio Sets were, and still there, a big Stack and a super Price
A big heavy Box for the Six Piece set and I asked for help loading it, loaded on a Cart, checked out
Then headed out for my Blazer a half Mile away... Drove up right in front of the Door and they slipped it in back

So headed home, backed in, too heavy to pull out the Box, decided to leave in the Back of the Blazer
Tore open the Box, pulled out the Four Chairs, set them on the Porch, brought the Legs and Table Top in to assemble later
So that was it with that Project, mixed a needed Manhattan, finished out the Afternoon and Evening
So I will finish the Assemoly on Friday and post a Photo on my Drivel Page on Monday

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Checking the Bug Report at the Front Door on Saturday Morning, looking a Tad better, only 5 came in
Outside the Door a lot fewer than on Friday Morning, Tom's 'granules' may be working some, can't be too soon for me
I might have to buy a new roll of Duct Tape, maybe I can charge Boss Bob for it

~ Granules Working? ~ Fewer Worms on the Tape on Saturday ~
79 Degrees at 8 a.m. Set out to weed the Gardens out back, well the Pepper Eggplant Bed and the Pumpkin Patch
A slight Breeze and the temp felt nice out there, nothing like it was Friday Afternoon... Whoooeee... 96?
So off with the Front Gate and Weeding went fast, looking a lot better, then to the back Gate, a few more Weeds back there
And I saw there was an Eggplant on one of the Plants and a Green Pepper developing on another

~ Lookee! a tiny Eggplant ~ And a dinky Green Pepper ~
Then on up to the Pumpkin Patch, pulled out a mess of Weeds and moved the Vines a bit to get them going the right Direction
On the way back in, I saw a Bud on the refugee Rose I moved from in front of the Next Building
Looks like it's doing well and just might survive on that Corner back there

~ The lttle recovering 'Refugee' Rose Plant ~
Next to the Rose, a Rhubarb Plant recovering nicely from the last Harvest, they just keep going til Frost
I still have Rhubarb Sauce in the Fridge now, what's next? A Pie or more Sauce?

~ This Rhubarb perked right up after the Last Harvest ~
And then those Sweet Potato Vines.. almost there now and lots more Vines climbing on the Cords below
Looking for a Crop maybe as good as the one in that Pot in 2014, Ten edible Potatoes then

~ Sweet Potato Vines about 8 Inches from the Top Rail ~
And then back in a little after 9 a.m. That should be all the Gardening needed for the Day, now what?
Well that was all the Gradening for the Day and noting mch going on the rest of the Day
That's what happens when I do most of my out back and out front stuff early, not much to to the rest of the Day
But it is a lot more comfortable to do it early and a chance to shower off any potential Chiggers afterward

So the usual Afternon and Evening routine activities and off to dream of what to do tomorrow
And I woke up with an Idea today (Sunday)... Make a Facebook Page for the Sullivan Nature Sanctuary
On the Web Page I managed for the Parkville Nature Sanctuary I had many Links and Activities of the Sullivan Sanctuary
When the Site was turned over over to the City to manage they dropped a lot of Info I had on my Pages
I still have all those Web Pages and I will construct a Facebook Page to include them...
And I will have it up and running TODAY! Well sure.. I get things done... Tally Ho! and all that Stuff!

~ One More Extra Hot Day~
~ Watering the Plants Again ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Little Poblano Plant is Blooming ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

How come we are always waiting for different Weather? When it's Cold we want it Warm, when it's Warm we want it Cooler
I guess that's what Heaven would really be, comfy Weather all the Time, well it sure ain't here
How many 90 plus Degrees Days in a row now? well back to the 80s next Week maybe, they say

And so, off to a Hot Friday, already 82 Degrees at 8 a.m. Might Water a little more out back
Took a peek at the Front Door first thing, looks like only Two Wormies got in and they were dead already
Opened the Door and looks like a couple Hundred more trapped in my Duct Tape I put out last night
Tom, our Maintenance man, put a 'Door Sweep' inside on the Door on Thursday, looks like that is working at least
He said he spread 'Granules' on the Walks and Porch out front, doesn't look like it had much effect... (yet)

~ Tom put the Door Sweep on Thursday ~ Only Two came inside Overnight ~

And then a peek at AeroGarden 7... the Two Poblano Pepper Plants, not very big yet but they are Blooming
Well the first Blooms on any Plant don't seem to produce anything much, but makes me think they are working on it

And a check of how the Sweet Potato Vines are doing, two climbing the Deck Rail now, one just about 12 Inches to the Top
Almost as high as they can go, wonder how much farther they could if I tied a Cord to the Eave?
Well they will have a long Deck Rail to crawl across, that will have to do, that's almost 12 feet from the Pot

~ Sweet Potato Vines about Ten Feet from the Pot Rail ~

And on then into another 90 Plus Day, too early for July in June, but they say some cooler Days next Week
So the rest of Friday was pretty much an inside and sort of boring Day, puttering with this and that
Much later in the Day I did trot out back again to water some more, and up to the Pumpkin Patch this time
THe Pumpkins don't seem to be doing much up there, watered them good, looks like some Weeding would help
And that was all for the Day out in the Gardens, back inside for the Evening
Then a good tasty Dinner of leftovers, of which I have plenty lately... Finished another Movie and off to Bed

~ Another Batch of Millipedes Trapped Thursday ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Welcome to Thursday and another very Hot Day coming on they say, was almost at 100 on Wednesday
What's wrong with that Weatherman, does he think it is July already... It's Still JUNE... Dang It!

So, I took a peek at the front Door, success! No brown Worms inside again, that Tape worked
Then opened the Door, Mein Gott im Himmel! Another couple hundred Millipedes stuck on the Duct Tape
Well, Tom said he would be here today to tack on what he calls a 'Sweep Strip' on the inside of the Door
That should elminate the need for the Duct Tape on the Door, not sure about it keeping them out though

And then out Early but not bright yet at 7 a.m. Wanted to get that Rose moved before the Sun came up
So I trundled my AeroCart up the Hill, fastened the 'Carry Strip' on the Pot, slipped the Rings on the 'Carry Arms
Then dropped over the Curb and then carefully wended my way back down the Hill to the far side of my Building
Dropped the Pot over the Curb, wrestled it to the spot I had chosen and leveled it up... WAH LAH! All done

~ Rose to be Moved ~ Rose moved to a New Home ~

~ Roses settled into their New Home ~

And so... I saw on Wednesday that some Tomato Vines needed to be tied up so I headed out back
I tied up four or five drooping Vines, looking better now and lots of Tomatoes setting on
Looks like a much better Crop coming on this Season than last year up in the shade

~ Tied up some Drooping Vines ~ First Big Tomato getting Ripe ~

Then the Sun was out and getting warm, headed back in, work done for the Morning at 8 a.m. NOW WHAT?
Well, what about all that Rhubarb, ready to be snipped again... I got my Snippers and did that
Cut off the Leaves and dumped them into that big Stainless Bowl to rinse, did that a couple times then Cut into Pieces
And then... into another big Baggy and into the Freezer to join all the other stuff stuffed in there

~ Snipped all the bigger Leaves ~ Cut up and Ready for the Freezer ~

Well then it was time to head to the Minit Mart for a Tank of gas and a couple Lottos
When I got back I saw the Neighbor out on his Deck, remembered I told him I would take him to his Doc Appointment
So I waved him over, and we headed a few Miles East to his Doc's place, close to my own Primary Doc
Said he woud only ne Five Minutes, just a needle stick in his Arm, well ya know it doesn't work that way
He got right in but I sat and chatted with the old FOlks in the Lobby for close to a half hour
Finally done, a few minutes back to Parkville, then it was time to Water out front again

I had watered s couple days back so it ddn't take much water out front, then next door for my Bushes there
The back needed Watering too but it was hot and I was too, so back in for my Margarita and TV catchup
Much later in the Afternoon I turned on thwe Water again and headed out back, watered everything real good
Almost everything that was, didn't climb to the Top to water the Pumpkins, would do that Friday

So then a simple Dinner to finish off the Day, big Lotto Prize Hot Dog, with Mustard, Horseradish and Onions
Some Tater Chips and the last of the Veggie Salad that Pat brought me... Quite an ample repast

The end of another productive and fun Day, now what will Friday bring?

~ Tremont Dental Office ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well now... The Brownie Wormies are back, been back for about a Week, crawling under the front Door
Seems they start coming in early in the Morning, I Vacuum them all up and it stays clear all day
I stopped at the Complex Office to ask Boss Bob if he had one of those Strips to fasten inside the Door
He aaid he would send Tom down to fasten one on but hasn't shown up yet, but I tried a Fix myself
I laid a couple strips of Duct Tape outside the Door with sticky Side up to try to trap them
Then closed the Door at Night and put a strip of Tape along the Bottom of the Door inside
That worked pretty good, none inside the Door in the Morning, some stuck on the Strip at the Bottom of the door
And a whole bunch of them on the Tape Outside, Tom and the Bug Man are coming today for the Three Month Spraying
I left the Worms out front for them to admire... Maybe they have an Idea to get rid of them

~ Set a Trap for the Brown Worm Millipedes ~ One Climbing the Door ~

And then... Time Marches On... I headed out for the Dentist at 8:30 a.m, had an appointment at 8:45
Got right in on time, endured the Cleaning Process, tiresome but I suppose necessary
Then the Dentist came in, poked around, said OK, then reminded me of the Endodontist next Week

So, back to el Ranchito, picked up the Mail... HUH? an Envelope from Bulgaria! Who do I know there?
Opened it up to find the Mexibell Pepper Seeds I ordered and found they would not be shipped for weeks
So I ordered some from Amazon and they have been growing a Week or Two now... But I have some of these for next year

~ Pretty Fancy Imported Mexibell Seeds for next Year ~

And... there were no Wormies inside when I took the tape off the Door and left for the Dentist
But when I got back there were about 20 on the floor inside the Door, made it across the outside Tape
Most curled up and dying but one climbing the Wall and a couple more crawling very slowly
Was then waiting for the Bug Spray Man and Tom, the Maintenance Man, see what they have to say
Well I had intended to water in front of the Building next Door, then my Gardens around back again
But it was HOT and I didn't get around to it... Maybe Today... (Thursday)?

But I did start on a Pot moving Project at the next Building, the Two big Pots where I planted the Roses
Seems a Tenant there doesn't like the spot where I set one Pot, He sets his Motorcycle on the Porch behind it
And whe he goes for a Rive which seems about every Two Weeks he moves the Pot where I do not want it
He shoves it up against a Tree in front and on a tilt which is not good for the Plant (I think)
So the first time he moved it, a couple days after I went over it set it back... And it was OK for a couple more Weeks

But again Two Days ago he went for a Ride again and did the same thing... OK I'll just bring them over here
So I brought my AeroCart around front, trundled over there, hooked up the 'Pot Holder"
Hooked the 'Lifing Arms' on the AeroCart to the Pot Holder and down the Hill to my place, up to the Porch
And I set it down on the far end of the Porch... An empty spot that needed something pretty anyway

~ One Rose in it's new Home on the end of the Porch

That was all the action for Wednesday, finished out the Evening with the usual Routine
Now Thursday Morning and heading for 90+ again, going to move the Second Pot over here before the Sun comes up
Then I hope the Motorcyclist lives happily ever after... PHOOOEY!

~ Sweet Potato Vine at the Deck Rail ~ 26 Inches to the Top Rail ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

OK.. let's see, this is Tuesday? This must be Parkville, somehow I wake up here every Day
So my opening Computer Routine, some repartee with Sigi Wulle, then off to finish my Morning Routine
The first stop after that was at the Medical Center way over there... Could have done this just a mile away
And why for? Primary Dctor says I need to check this again, just did it a couple years back
Wanted me to get a Carotid Ultrasound, a painless and harmless Test that uses high-frequency sound waves
To create pictures of the insides of your Carotid Arteries, easy enough to endure for a few Minutes
But it took longer to drive way over there than the time for the procedure, anyway it came out OK and another Relief

So, I headed over there at 9 a.m. was back home about 10:30 a.m. Stopped by the Price Chopper for Lottos
Won a $10 Ticket and went back for some more and of course lost them all, now what was the Agenda?

I had skipped Breakfast as usual so I just had an early Lunch, used some more of my Indoor Grown Lettuce
And another Hot Sunny Day and it looked like I better Water out front again, but first out back with the Sprinkler Can
I wanted to water the Beet Seed Tape again, not doing so fantastic so far, maybe too hot too quick?

~ The Garden Beds June 14th ~ Cucumbers at Two Feet ~ Tomatoes at Four Feet ~

The Cantaloupe Plants doing better now, even the Newly Planted Hill.. I just might get a Melon or two sometime

~ Cantaloupe Plants ~ First and Second Plantings ~

So then back in, hooked up the Hose and out front at 2 p.m. to start watering everything out there again
On these latest hot Days the Plants seem to be needing a lot of water, and I gave them all they seemed to need
Finished with all the plants in front of my place, plan to do the one at the next Building Today, Wednesday
And then maybe drag the Hose around back to water all Garden beds all over again
But that will be when I get back from the Dentist, an Appointment for cleaning at 8:45 this Morning

After the watering Tuesday, on to the usual Afternoon non-activities, Cocktail, TV and a nice Dinner
And now here we go again.... Hi Ho Wednesday!
