And then, playing around on the Computer, heard some chatter and an Engine running outside
So nosy ne, I had to go out and investigate... A Crew was installing a second Hand Rail to the Stairs
And also a safety Railing in the Garden Bed above, looks neat... So of course I had to get Photos of that
You know that I peek into most everything that goes on around here, got to keep up ya know
And it was another slow Day after my Lotto runaround... I did get a start on my HTML Video
That is kind of a Techie boring subject, I don't know how interesting I can make it
Well something to keep me busy now and then for a little while anyway
So, warming up outside but I was sittng at the Computer and getting a Chill, what's the Deal?
Well yeah, I turned off the Furnace so the Blower wouldn't sound on my Video opening... turn it back ON!
Then it was that usual back off time to waste another Afternoon... Well I did make some Cole Slaw
And I made some 'better' Slaw this time, I have been making my Slaw Dressing the same way for Years
Somehow it wasn't tasting as great as I thought it should be so I looked up a Recipe online
Printed it out, mixed it up, chopped up my Cabbage and tried it out, Oh yeah, that's better!
And I ended the Day with what was left of the Turkey Dinner I had on Monday, this time with the better Cole Slaw
Stayed up just a bit longer to try for a better Night and then it was 'Irene Good Night'
She says if ya wanna stay here ya gotta pay an increase of $20 a Month... how generous of her!
The Rent went up $15 a Month last Year, now $20 this Year, how long before they price me out of this Complex?
My IBM Pension stays the same, my Social Security increasd a whopping $33 a Month but Medicare went up $30
That leaves me with a generous $3 a Month Increase to take care of my ever increasing Bills
So what Weather do we have to fight our way through this Morning to find some more Winner Lottos
Well it was 22 Degrees at 7 a.m. The expected high of 49 to top out the Day, some better than Monday
I don't know if it is my Age or the Operation that has made this the coldest winter I can remember
For me it started the Day I walked out of the Hospital on a cold October 28th in my light Jacket
It was a nice warm Fall Day when I went in on October 19th, really chilly the Day I walked out
So then a slow Morning, waiting for the early Chill to abate a tad, then headed for the Price Chopper
I hit the Price Chopper Twice and the Fast Stop once, trading in Winners and buying losers
For the Day I won Two $10 Tickets and Two $15 Tickets but when the count was over I had lost $5 for the Day
So nothing much going on the Rest of the Day, was playing around thinking of making a 'How to write a Web Page' Video
I got started on that, got a little done, then got bored and quit, don't know if I will try that or not
You have to show a lot of fine detail to do that right and I don't know if my Equipment can do that
Here is an example, showing the HTML Code in my Blog Page and then what it look like on the Internet
Maybe I'll look at it again if I get really bored and again I just might not
Now lets go wrap up Wednesday and get ready for Pay Day on Thursday..... Whoopeee!
So Sunday was a lot of running around trying for a good Win, tried at Four places
Won enough to keep going back to try again but finally lost all the last try
So the fix for that, try again today, down to the Fast Stop first
Killing time waiting for it to warm up a little before venturing out into the Cold
About 9 a.m. and Sunny but really Cold, got up the nerve to venture out for my Lottos
The Fast Stop was my choice for Monday... Bought $30 worth of my Favorites
Then back home to scratch off $75 in Winners another nice $50 one included
Then back to the Fast Stop to Cash in, bought more and only won $5 that time
Oh well, someone said you can't win 'em all and I can believe that from experience
So what's for Monday Dinner, must have something tasty stored en mi Cocina.. Si Si?
Well no more Mexican stuff again so soon, I have some of Navru's BBQ Chicken left
And a lot of Dressing I made to use up the last of my Chrstmas Turkey, what else?
Well, I think I still have some of the candied Sweet Potatoes I grew and put away in the Freezer
That should make a nice T-Day Dinner substitute for a Day in January... Away to work on that
And the Afternoon seeped on to TV time with a Glass of Sangria, mi current Vino Tinto
After a couple Hours of that, time for the Feast, Hotted up the Chicken, Dressing and Sweet Potatoes
And it was a tasty Dish to set before the King as mostly is usual, I do some passable Cooking
And that wound up another mostly quiet Day with no Project of any kind at all
And so, checked when my Income Tax Refund might get here, well, it ain't gonna get here...
I owed some Tax from Income I ddn't declare some time back and they are taking my refund to apply to that... DRAT!
So, the morning was just running around trying to win the Big One, won some, lost most... Oh Well
Big events of the Day so far, did a load of Dishes in the Dishwasher, did a load of Laundry
Now a 2 p.m. catch up, I set out some Tamales and chili for a dinner later, whenever
And mixed a Margarita and then headed back to another Afternoon of TV...
And after the usual nothin much Afternoon a nuthin much Dinner, Some Chli on a couple Tamales
Was OK but again nt my best try at Tamales or Chili, am I losing my Taste or my cooking touch?
And that was it for the weekend, let's get on to my favorite Day... MONDAY!
Headed to the Fast Stop on a chilly but Sunny Morning,... brrrr... Navru was at his Post
Traded in $35 worth of Winner Tickets for $35 more and won back $45, not too shabby
That meant another trip to the Price Chopper to try for more, need some stuff there anyway
I needed some Wine, Milk and Plastic Bags and decided to get some Chicken to BBQ also
And I traded in mt $45 worth of Lottos, bought $45 more and headed Home...
This time I won a $5, $10, $20 and a nice fat $40 Ticket.... A $75 Win for that try
But of course not all profit but that's the name of that Game... just try for the Big One
But if you need the details, spent I spent $80 and won back $120, looks like a $40 Profit... Not bad
And then that Chicken, waiting for it to warm up a bit more outside to BBQ
Unwrapped the Chicken, rinsed and trimmed and then on with the BBQ Rub, and wait until Noon
Noon-Thirty, warm enough, outside to light the Burner and put some Cherry Wood in the Fire Box
Then out with the Chicken, Eight big Thighs on the Grill and away we go for a few Hours
Then I sent Navru a Photo of the Chicken. and he said he wanted some Chicken, well come on over
He said he would head this way when he checked out of work at 2:30 p.m. well fine then
I hadn't planned for company so I thought I should add a few things, like BBQ Beans and Bread and a soft Drink
Back to the Price Chopper, got some Dinner Rolls at the Bakery Counter, Some 'Fanta Orange' and some 'Grillin Beans'
And then some more cooking to do, Oil and Chopped Onion in the Pot, then the Beans and simmer away<
The all set for another January BBQ Feast with Navru, he sure does like my Cooking, well who doesn't?
And then, back out to check the Chicken at 2 p.m. And guess what? The Fire was out, Oh No!
So I hooked up my spare Tank and guess what? It was empty! OH NO NO NO! Headed to Walgreens
Exchanged my Tank, hauled that new HEAVY one into the Blazer and headed back, hooked up the Tank
Then lit the Fire and back in to wait another Hour or so... Then Navru showed up at 2:30 p.m.
I told Navru about the hitch and it might take the Chicken a little longer to finish
But he had brought some goodies with him and he snacked on them while we watched a Movie
I originally thought the Chicken would be done at 3:30 and I went out to check then, looked good
I brought it it, laid out a couple pieces on a Plate for him to try... It was NOT done so back in the oven
In the Oven for another half hour ar 250 Degrees, checked it again at 4 p.m. Still not there yet
So I cranked the Oven up to 350 Degrees for another half hour and that finally did it
Then I dished up the Dinner, Chicken, BBQ Beans and Rolls and we finished the eats and the Movie
And as usual, Navru ate up most all the Chicken, relished the Beans like last time, had a good time
So time to wind up the Party and head for Home... I put the rest of the Beans in a Container for him
Added a couple Chicken Thighs and Rolls to the Bag and off he went, happy as a Lark as they say
And my first try for lottos at the Price Chopper was OK on Thursday but the secomd at the Fast Stop was not
So that was the first place to try on Friday, and hope for another Winner Day... Yeah!
And off to the Fast Stop about 10 a.m. Windy but Warmer outside than usual, bright Sun too
At the Fast Stop, Navru was removing things getting close their expiration Date, offered me some
So I selected a sackful and then back to the Counter for my Lottos, got my Lottos and Hasta luego
Back at el Ranchito only scratched off a dinky $5 Win, that surely would not do
So what freebie should I try for Breakfast, the Spam or the Vienna Sausage. chose the Spam
Fried up a couple Slices in the Skillet on Toast with a little Mustard, yep, that would do it
And what next? Back to the Price Chopper and another try for Winners, just can't stop with a $5 Win
Then that trip paid off nicely, traded in $30 of Winners for $30 more tickets and won a $20 and a $75
So Three Days in a row with some pretty fair luck but why can't I find that really Big one to brag about
Actually it has been a pretty good winning Week overall
The Big Winners were: Monday $100, Wednesday $50, Thursday $50 and Friday $75
Well that should have been enough Lotto for the Day but there wasn't much else to do
So a little after 1 p.m. I headed back to the Fast Stop, Navru was back working in the Cooler
The Afternoon Clerk called out for him and he came out, I showed him my Winners, he was impressed
Then I got $30 more and headed back Home for the Day... To scratch off $30 worth of losers... BLAH!
No problem, I have been lucky this Month, I have more Money available this end of the Month than in a long time
On to the Evening, I sliced up a big Sausage, dumped Navru's gift Beans in a Pot, added the Sausage and Onions
Let that bubble on the Stove a while, then a bowlful and headed back the the TV to end the Day
Well then I was waiting for it to warm up some before I headed out for my Gas fill up
Then remembering I had some Pork flling left from my Tamale project, what to do with that?
Thinking it might go good in some Enchiladas, Si Si, off to the Price Chopper again<
First cashed in $30 worth of Winner Lottos and got $30 of new tries, then stuff for Enchiladas
Some Masa Harina, some Colby-Jack Cheese, some Enchiladas Sauce, some Corn Tortillas
Then back home to scratch off $90 in WINNERS, Two $90 winner Days in a row! Ole!
Then I got a call from Pat, was coming by to pick up her Muaic and Mexican Blanket for her Company Party
Showed up shortly after and wanted to hear the Music, I was sipping my Margarita, I got her a Dos Equis
Then we listened to the Music on my DVD Player, and she like every Song I had recorded!
Then some chat and TV and Videos until her going up the Hill Time, a pleasant interlude
And then back out to the Kitchen to attend to my Enchiladas, much easier to do than Tamales
Heated up some Oil in the Skillet to soften a Tortilla, dip it in Enchilada Sauce, add a Spoon of Pork filling
Then roll it up and into the Pyrex Dish, already some Sauce in the bottom, repeat until the Dish is full
Some more Sauce on top, then a layer of shredded Cheese, finish with s little more sauce on top to make it pretty
And into the Oven for a half hour, a glass of Wine and back to the TV again
That was about all the Day except to try out those Enchiladas, Three on a Plate and back to the TV
Again not the best I have ever made but quite ample for a closing Thursday Dinner... Hasta la Vista...
And I kept busy almost just enough on Tuesday, more than enough time on Lottos, but it's fun
I still have a lot of Winner Money left even after a pretty big loss on Tuesday
That was the frst full Deck I have tried that I didn't get more than half of my money back
And late in the Day a call from Pat, needed a Sombrero for an event, the Sombreros I had, all gone
But I offered a colorful Mexican Blanket that can be used as a Serape or other decoration
And she wanted some Mexican Music and I have a lot, I made her a 30 Minute CD of some good ones
And then on through a slow Morning, no hurry to get out into that Cold again, don't need anything but Lottos
Had some more of my latest Apple Sauce and that stuff is really good... From 'Honey Crisp' Apples on sale
So simple to make, 1/3 Cup of Water 1/4 Cup of Sugar and a teaspoon of Cinnamon... Yeah!
Just thought, I bet a little Nutmeg would go good in there too, have to try that sometime
Finally got around to my Shower and off to the Fast Stop again, warmed up to 33 by then
More Chat from Navru, and he gave me a free Banana, traded in $30 of winners for more tries
Back home to scratch off a $50 and $20 Winner, now that's the way to go, $40 Profit by Noon
Some neatening up this and that and then of thinking of 'What's for Dinner', got the Idea for Tamales
Hadn't done that for quite a while, I had some smoked Pork I could use... Back to the Price Chopper then
I needed Corn Husks, Salsa, Masa Harina and Cumin and what else? That should do it, back to el Ranchito
I had the Pork in the Oven thawing out so I could chop it up, I put the Husks in a Bowl of Water to Soak
Then it was time to assemble the Tamales, a tedious task at that, first mix the Pork with Spices and Salsa
Then mix the Masa with Beef Stock and then a Spoon of Masa on a Husk, spread it out, top it with Pork
Then wrap it up for steaming... And so I started on that and I forgot just how tedious it is
I got the first Batch of just Eight Tamales in the Steamer at 4:35 or so, need to steam for an Hour
And they steamed away as I went back to the TV to sip a Glass of Vino and catch up on the non-news
Time to check the Tamales, back to the Kitchen to take out the first Eight and prepare Six more to steam
The next batch in the Steamer, back to the TV for another Hour, then out to remove the Tamales
Put One on a Plate, a little Pace Picante Sauce on top and back to the TV to sample
Not absoutely the best I have made but a lot better than those imitations at the Store for sure
And that wound up another pretty good Day, several in a row this Week, Yeah...
And what's the Weather, they said it would be cooler on Tuesday, yeah a little, starting at 28 at 7 a.m.
And not as much of a High, saying topping out at 41 Degrees, at least that's above freezing...
On to my Morning Computer stuff, was working on my Crossword and heard something out front
Flipped on the Window Web Cam and there was Emily from upstairs tackling the Ice on her Windshield
Oh No! They didn't say anything about Ice for today... And too cold to drive the Mercedes, no Heater
And the Blazer is across that Icy Street and the Door probably frozen shut again... DRAT!
Oh well, Emily kept at it, thought I would make a Video just for fun... Started on that
And had that short Video Rendered and uploaded by 9 a.m. Project done for the Day!
Want to take a Peek, here it is, not all that boring I hope
Time slipped by, wanting more action, thinking I still had some of that Winner Lotto Money in the Bank
Decided to head back to the Price Chopper nd try anOther Full Pack of 60 Tickets... Did good on the last try
So I got my Pack, headed back to scratch for about 20 Minutes or so, and then win back on the worst Pack I have tried
Usually you win a good hunk, well over half back, this time I only won $145 out of the $300 cost... Phoooey and then some
Anyway, most of the cost of that Pack was Winner Money, so I'll cash in my latest Winners and try for more
And on into the Afternoon, not much going on, sipping some of Navru's Gift of Vino Tinto
And thinking of what's for Dinner and thinking of a Chili Burrito... Oh yeah... Con Queso? Si Si
Into the Evening, had my Dinner, watched my Movie, played my Music and off to Bed
So first to the Price Chopper in a cold dripping Rain... Brrr again... but not bitter cold
Cashed in $25 of Winners and a $5 Bill for $30 more Lotto Tickets, headed back Home
Scratched off $30 in Wins again, no Win, no Loss, had a little Breakfast and then off to the Fast Stop
Cashed in my $30 in Wins, bought $35 more, and Navru then gave me a Bottle of Pinot Noir
Then back Home again after a lot of Chat and scratched off a $100 Win, very very Nice at that
Then popped the Cork on my Wine and put it in the Fridge to cool, I know the Rule is 'Serve Red Wine at Room temp'
But as everyone should know by now... I do things MY WAY... Like Andre Rieu says in this Clip
In the Afternoon, what's for Dinner... Too many leftovers, see what I can do... AHA! that chopped Pork
Left over from the Day before the BBQ... How about that? Well lets see, chop up some Celery
Chop some Onion, always Onion... Simmer in Olive Oil, dump the chopped Pork on top and stir in
Then at TV Dinner and Movie Time, try out the mish mash... with a Glass of Navru's Wine
So a Good Day and a Good Lotto Win and a Good Dinner... Brightened up a Dreary Day
6:45 a.m. Out to light the Burner in the Smoker, add Cherry Wood and fill the Water Bowl
Back out again to put the Ribs on the Grill, back inside at 7 a.m. the Aroma already seeping in
All out of Vino Tinto, headed to the Price Chopper at 8 a.m. Traded for $30 of Lottos
Got my Cart and headed for my Wine... DARN! Forgot, can't buy booze until 9 a.m. on Sunday
So on back to scratch off $15 in Wins, then put more wood in the Smoker
Back to the Price Chopper at 9 a.m. to trade in my Winners and buy more Lottos and a Gallon of Sangria
Back to scratch off $25 in Wins this time and then another check on the Ribs in the Smoker
Then at 10 a.m. I brought the Ribs inside, covered with Foil and put them in the Oven
That makes Three Hours in the Smoker and about Three more in the Oven...
Then just passed the Time until my Guest arrived mostly playing around on the Computer
Out to the Kitchen to set up things for the BBQ, set out the plates and Bowls, warmed up the BBQ Beans
Then back to the TV for a while until a little after 1 p.m. a knock on the Door and he was here
And greeting and salutations and come on in and get comfy, unload your sack of goodies
Before serving I gave him a taste of my Cole Slaw and BBQ Beans to see if he liked them, he did
The BBQ Ribs out of the Oven and on a Serving Dish, dished up the Beans and Slaw and back to the Theater
Then it was Rib chomping time along with TV and Videos, Navru like all my Food, especialy the Beans
On through the long afternoon, he wanted to see a lot of my Videos, well I do have some good ones
On into early Evening, he needed to get back to do some University Studies, he attends Park University
I gave him the Ribs and Beans we didn't comsume for our feast, he wanted the recipe for the Beans
And after his departure, another Glass of wine and more TV to finish the Day
Overall a pleasant and convivial Day, good Food and good Company, yes indeed it was!
So out in the 'warm' Morning into a damp and Dreary Day, the Temp was OK but the Sky was not
I traded in $30 worth of Winners for another $30 worth of possibles, then chat with Navru
He says he wants to come Sunday for that BBQ, I asked him to bring his Bread and Drink and whatver
I have the Meat and will prepare it for a King, but the King said he couldn't make it on Sunday
Next stop, the Price Chopper, I picked up some Cabbage for Slaw later, then some Bread
Dishwasher Detergent, then some Milk, Ice Cream, Snickers, Mixed Nuts and last 'Grillin Beans'
Back home to scratch off $25 in Wins and start on my BBQ Beans for Sunday
2:30 p.m. and 50 Degrees but still cloudy and dreary, tomorrow supposed to be warmer but also Cloudy
So time to pour a Glass of Vino Tinto, watch some TV, then make Slaw when the mood hits
And then time to make the Slaw and BBQ Beans, and back to the TV for a couple Movies and some Music
And the last Task for the Day, removed the 'membrane' from the back of the Ribs, a tedious process this time
Then dusted with BBQ Rub, covered with Foil and into the Fridge to Marinate overnight... BBQ SUNDAY!
That is enough chatter for Saturday, let's see what happens Sunday
Well just thinking, Shayla and Diane liked my Birdie Video I posted on Facebook
I have several other Birdie Videos, thought I would post one of the Hummingbirds
I loaded one in my Video Editor, added my 'Hummingbird' Song to go along with it
Sized the Video clips to fit the exact length of the Song, was a bit too long to begin with
Rendered, then upoaded to Vimeo, and here is the new shorter Version
OK, on to my Afternoon and 49 Degrees at 3 p.m. Checked my Email again
And there was one from my Pension Plan saying my 1099R was ready to Print and that I did
And then I fired up Turbo-Tax online to file my Income Tax, kind of an involved process
But I waded through it and got my Tax return filed by 3:30 p.m. Now my Refund is on the way
Then I was thinking about the BBQ... Thought I would run back to the Price Chopper to see what they had
And they had Beef Short Ribs on sale but still over $5 a pound, always higher then Pork Ribs
But Navru won't eat Pork Ribs... and Beef Ribs sure do taste good but take longer to Smoke
So I will drop down to the Fast Stop for my Saturday Lottos and invite Navru to BBQ
And suggest that he bring the Bread and what he wants to drink, no Beer or Wine for him... Oh well
And what about the rest of that rather pleasant Day, not much but I managed to wade through it
And then I dropped by the Bank to deposit that $100 Win from the Pack on Wednesday
Next Door to the Price Chopper, needed some Items to make some more roasted Turkey Dressing
I had that big hunk of Turkey Breast to use, kind of bland tasting so thought I would use it in Dressing
Got some Celery and more Onions and I needed Potatoes too last Sack running low
Back then to work the Fast Stop Lottos for exactly NOTHING! Drat, well the name of that game
Decided to go back to the Fast Stop with some of my Pack Winnings and try that, this time got $30 in Tickets
This time a bit more luck but not enough, only won back $15... well there's always Tomorrow isn't there?
And then started on my Dessing, I had put out a half loaf of Bread to dry that was almost ready
I put some Butter and Olive Oil in the Pot, chopped up some Celery and onions, into the Pot to simmer
Chopped up all the Turkey Meat and after the Onion and Celery were ready, dumped the Turkey in the Pot
And left that to Simmer, poured a glass of Sangria and back to the TV Afternoon
Then time to finish the Dressing, sliced all the Bread up into little chunks and into my big stainless Bowl
Dumped in the Turkey, Onions and Celery, stirred up and then added some Turkey Stock
Into a big glass Dish and into a 350 Degree oven for a bit over a Half Hour and then Wah Lah!
And that was my Day for doing anything... Back to the TV, later Dinner of some tasty Dressing and pickled Beets
Then off to dream of warmer Days ahead as promised
Checking my Email then I saw a Notice from Bank of America saying $150 had been deposited to my Account
And then 'Click Here' to check my Account online, what's this, someone tryng to hack me again?
Well I checked the Email address, looked legit and then I remembered they promised me $150 to start that Account
So then I checked my Account onlne and yeah! that $150 was sitting there waiting for Lottos
Now I have my Prize, I am not all that Happy with their Procedures, thinking get that Money and close that Account
Humming right along on that Chilly Morning, checked out Facebook, had posted an old Musical Video there
And I got a couple of Comments, decided to make another one for one of my Friends who had commented
I got online and found 20 Bird Photos, I edited them to Video Frame size, added them to the Time Line
Then added Music...'Let's all sing like the Birdies sing' then rendered and uploaded it to Vimeo and here it is at 11 a.m.
Back to the Price Chopper to hit the ATM for $300 and then got a full pack of 60 $5 Tickets
Back hme to scratch away and keep track of the Winners, best one was that $100 Win up there
After scratching Number 60 the total Win was $230, lost $70, not so bad, I have $230 of Winners to try again
So first thing Thursday I'll deposit that $100 Win back in the Bank and try some of my Winners for more Winners
That was all the action for the Day, on to the usual wind down Afternoon and Evening
And thinking about that maybe warmer Day or Three ahead, wouldn't that be loverly?
Well, I seem to have kind of a 'Clock' in my head, seem to know pretty much what time it is when I wake
I am usually just a few Minutes off most of the time, so this Morning I was thinking it was 4:32 a.m.
And opened my Eyes to see the Clock said 5:32 a.m. Or... had my Alarm Clock reset to Daylight Saving time?
10 a.m. the Morning moving slowly, a little Computering, a little Breakfast with a little TV News
Putting off my Shower until the place warmed up a little, still at Zero Degrees outside at 10
And then that done and I was ready to tackle that frigid Cold again, well not ready but I did anyway
So then about 11 a.m. and 1 Degree or so but wth bright Sun I bundled up and headed across the Street
Just like the Day before the Driver's door was frozen shut butI had a jug of warm Water ready
Poured that along the top of the Door, gave it a tug and I was ready to travel, then off and up that Hill
And then at the Price Chopper, cashed in $35 worth of Winners, went to Lotto Machine 2 to get $20 more
Then on to Produce, 'Buenos Dias' to Luis and what is that on sale? Huh, 'Honey Crisp' Apples so I got a handful
The around the Corner to pick up a HEAVY jug of Sangria, next to get some 'Dial' Soap, I've been using that since 1949!
I remembered I needed some Lime Juice and Spin Blend Salad Dressing, been using that forever also
That was all I needed so I got sacked up and headed back into the bitter Cold and that is the word to describe it
My hands about froze on the short trip to the Blazer, into the Blazer and back home to unload in front
Then parked the Blazer back across the Street, when it warms up a little I can drive the Mercedes again
About 1 p.m. time to think up something for Dinner and I had a few Ideas but then remembered I had half a Turkey Breast
I put that in the Fridge to thaw on Monday, now time to hot it up with some Dressing, Gravy and Cole Slaw
Got that started and then at 2 p.m. I mixed another rare Margarita and headed to the TV
Finished my Margarita, dished up my Dinner, the Slaw was tangy, and the Dressing was tasty
But the Turkey was kind of bland, well Turkey Breast was never much my favorite piece
So after that another Glass or two of Vino Tinto and I wandered off to Bed... Good Night Irene... Goodnight
So what to start the Day? Cold out there again but I want to go for Lottos, but...
The Mercedes is parked out front but the Heater doesn't work, has no 4 Wheel Drive and that Hill might be slick
My Blazer is parked across the Street, might be slick under that Snow to walk over there... Ouch!
So is it worth the chance to go through all that just to lose another $20... Well ya know how it is
8:30 a.m. and lookee there and phoooey, 10 Degrees... dropped 6 degrees since 6 a.m. Like we needed that
And just had another piece of my Birthday Cake, sure is good stuff, only Three pieces left now
Watched the News while having my Cake, they are still griping about Trumps last Profanity
Well he was just saying what most of the People in this Country think about letting Africans into the USA
But most are too afraid of not being 'Poltically Correct' to agree... BTW, 'PC' means 'Posterior osculation'
And the Morning withered away with me just puttering around tryng to find something to do
Did a load of Laundry, and a load of Dishes just so much fun, did a little TV, did a little Blogging
Finaly gave up and braved the Cold about 1:30 p.m. still 10 Degrees and predicted to keep going down
Hadn't been to the Fast Stop for a couple Days so I headed down there, some chat with Navru and got my Lottos
Back home, again parked across the Street and headed in to work my Lottos, spent $30, won back $35
Well still ahead of the game a little, bought none on Sunday, made a $5 Profit on Monday... wowee!
And that was it for a frigid Monday... Just TV and Dinner after my Lotto foray and off to Bed
The day slipped on until 8 a.m. then I took a peek out the Door, yeah, that's a bit more than 'light' Snow
And still coming down at a pretty good clip, one look at that and I decided I didn't want to go out there
Don't need anything at the Store and I can do without my Lotto Tickets in that kind of Weather
Then I got a call from Navru about 10:15 a.m. He said he would see me in 10 minutes, well it took longer
He showed up about 10:40 and he unloaded his Laptop and we got down to Video Editing business
I showed him how to do things on my Computer and answered his Questions as he did the Editing on his Laptop
Well that is a complicated Program when you get down to it and I showed him a lot of the Basics he needed for his Video
Then he watched a little of my Year 2017 Video and then headed up the Hill to Home...
And that was it for a busy Sunday Afternoon... On to the rest of a kind of interestung COLD Day
