~ One more Day until Pay Day!~

~ Flags out for Independence Day! ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Is this Monsoon Season? All that Rain yesterday Morning... And woke up to Rain and T-Booms during the Night
Well Mike said Storms would roll back in overnight and they sure did, and was still T-Booming at 5 a.m.
It has quieted down since then, maybe they are done for the Day... Hope so, just checked the Weather
Says partly Sunny and a high of 81, I can live with that... So what's the Plan for Friday? Ain't none!

Well now, maybe there is... Time to start celebrating the Independence Day Weekend, make it last
Planning on smoking some Chicken soon, when? Maybe Saturday or Sunday? Whenever the mood hits
And then putting out the 'Flag Fans' and Flags, make everything look Festive again for the Holiday!

Well the mood hit right away, decided to head to the Price Chopper for some Chicken Thighs to Smoke
And on the way out I noticed two more Eggplants on the Plant in the Pot, makes Three now on the way... Hoo-Ray!

~ Now Three Eggplants ~ One on the Other Side ~

At the Price Chopper hit the ATM for some Lotto Money, bought Four more prospects
Then some BBQ Sauce, I was all out and lookee there! KC Masterpiece for 99 Cents, lowest price ever!
And back to the Meat Counter for some Chicken, nice big Six Pack of Thighs for $4.84... Wowee!
I think that's what I like Best about Holidays, what I want to cook for the Event is always on Sale

~ Chicken Thighs $1.49 a Pound ~ Six Pack for $4.84 ~

And back home to unload and work my Lottos... a total No-Go... Oh well, gonna be a happy Day anyway
Started on my first Barbecue of the Holiday... Prepped the Chicken, rinse, trim and dust with BBQ Rub
Let that season for a while and then on to other things until BBQ Time later

And then... Took My Ladder and FLags out front to decorate for the Fourth... Four USA Flags
And Two Star Spangled Flag Fans, wonder if I should hang up the Missouri Flag too? Might as well, I still have Room under the Deck...

~ Getting Ready for the Fourth! ~

Marching on to the Holiday... I started the fire in the Smoker, put on a couple Cherry Wood Loglets
Back in to get the BBQ Rub Dusted Chicken Thighs and set them in the Smoker at 11:30 a.m.
And after a very busy Morning... time to back off and enjoy the gorgeous Weather all over again

~ Chicken Prepped for the Smoker ~ Cherry Wood Smoked and Ready ~

Then the Chicken out of the Smoker at 1:30, looking just great and I bet will taste Great!
Mixed a Margaritas to rest up a bit more before doing some more Landscaping out front
Back out front with my Lopper, lopped off some of the Pear Tree Branches interfering with my Flag
Sat out there on and off, just easing through the Afternoon, decided to do some more lopping
A wild Bush that decided to occupy the Bed above the Stairs, the original Bush died out
So I lopped off the smaller Branches that my Lopper could handle, next get the Saw when I feel like it

~ Target for my Lopper ~ Lopped as much as it could Lop ~

And that was all the hard labor(?) for the Day, eased through the rest of the Afternoon
Then a Smoked Chichen Thigh on the plate, some Tater Salad and a Glass of Wine, first Feast of the Holiday
That's some tasty Chicken... it is... and Five More Thighs to go... Well more Holidays to go too

Saturday is to be a Happy Day, a Double Pay Day, more good weather and Money in the Bank!

~ Just another Rainy Day ~
~ Won another Nice Lotto ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Fourth $40 Win of the Month ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Thursday... Two Days until Pay Day and I still have Money in the Bank... Hurray!
But it still will be nice to get a little more in there to make me happy... (or Happier)
So what for the Day? Well first a quick run to Platte City and then no plans at all again
Other than Water and Fertilize out back, Hook the Sprayer to the Hose and spray some Miracle-Gro
Maybe give a boost to the stuff planted back there that should be doing better than it is

Oh oh.. Just checked the Weather, maybe won't have to water, says T-Storms on the way
But I think that the Plants need a bit more help than Rain Water although that gives them a boost too

So, into the Shower at 7 a.m. as I heard some faint rumbles off in the distance
Finished the Shower, turned off the water but I still heard water running... Yeah! Just pouring outside
More thunder and a real gully washer out there, hoping it would quit before my Road Trip

The rain let up some and I headed to the Price Chopper, needed Milk and Cookies and Lottos
Back Home then to scratch off another nice $40 Win, the Fourth $40 Win for the Month
I just might be ahead in Lotto Wins for June but I don't keep track of the cost, that takes away the Fun

Rain, Rain... Go Away! Donnie wants to go outside and Play!
So it was raining when I left at 9 a.m. and rained all the way to Platte City
And that was not a fun drive with the speeding Vehicles throwing up such a cloud of spray
Then it rained all the way back with the same hazards, me no like! Nada!
And the rain was just backing off a little when I stopped at my Mail Box when I got back at 10:30

And the Rain pretty much stopped about 11:30 or so and there were some hazy Sunny periods
Then bright Sun out at 2:30 p.m. and I took a walk out back to check the Gardens again

~ My Cucumber is Growing ~ Tomatoes Ripening ~ Maxibell Pepper Growing ~

3 p.m. and still Sunny, turned off really nice... And the back Gardens looking Good so far
At that point when the Crops start appearing and then the wait until they are big enough to Harvest
See what happens first, The Cucumber, the Eggplant, the Tomatoes or the Peppers... I am ready!

Then time for my Daily Margarita, sip sip and a good one it was... And what's for Dinner
Still have a serving of that Hash I made on Wednesday, added some of those tiny Pickled Peppers
I sampled one... Hah! Spicy! They said they were 'Sweet' Pickling Peppers, hope not too hot for my Hash

Nothing to do outside and the Afternoon progressing, Weather improving, warmer dryer and pleasant
Into the Evening with my TV and then hotted up my Dinner, and those Peppers were muy Picante! Hotter than Jalapenos
And I only used three tiny ones, have to be careful how many and what I add those to
Well that was enough of Thursday, let's see what the last Day of the Month brings...

~ Sent my RAM back to Dell ~
~ Then just Lottos and Watering ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ My 'Stairway to the Sky' Flower Bed ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well I am glad that I have no Projects lined up for Wednesday, was wrapped up in that last one for Four Days
Dell sent me a return lable for my RAM Module so I'll trot that over to UPS to send in for my refund
And put the Case cover back on my Dell Four, going to give up on adding RAM for now, don't really need it
And then it will just be a 'see what happens' Day, just taking care of things as they pop up

Checked the Gardens out back again, not much change from Tuesday, still checking for a female Pumpkin Bloom
Then started off chasing my Rainbows again, ran back and forth several times from the Price Chopper to the Fast Stop
Winning just enugh each time to tempt me to go back and trade and try again and again
I scratched off a $5, $5, $5, $15, $15, $20 and a $25 Winner but still no profit for the Day... (but fun trying)

Not much else for activity except hooking up the Hose again and watering everything out front
And while I was out there I saw there was an Eggplant now on the Plant in the Pot, and maybe a Second

~ Looks like I have an Eggplant Now ~

Then checking Facebook I saw they had made up a little Video for me, kind of cute so I made a Video Copy
I jazzed it up a little with a little Music and Intro and Exit, now I can show it on my TV... Take a look >>>

And then, a little late for my Margarita but I whupped one up and caught up with the Afternoon TV
Thinking what could I revive for a luscious repast for Dinner, must be something good in there
Yeah, I thawed out a Lotto Prize Burger, chopped it up, browned it up in Bacon Fat with Onions and Taters
Voila! Hamburger Hash with sliced fresh Cucumbers in Vinaigrette, down Home kinda cookin'... Yeah

Off to see what Thursday will bring...

~ Finished my Planter Project ~
~ Won another $40 Lotto ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Finished ~ Now Grow Plants... Grow! ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And another on and off Busy Day on Monday, working on that Planter Project, last few Days not so boring
Just might get that Project finished Tuesday, dump some Soil in the Gap on the Hill, then place the Planter
Fill the Planter with Soil and then the final step, planting the Coleus and on that slant it won't be easy

Also my new 8GB of RAM for the new Dell should arrive and that will take about Five Minutes to install
So it looks like it just might be another busy Day for most of the Day

First off to the Minit Mart to trade in $20 of Winners for $20 of new Winner prospects
Back Home to scratch off a $5, $5 and a $10 Win, even up, back to ground Zero for the Day

And then out in that warm Sunshine to work on my Planter, placed it on the Hill, evened it up
The poured in a Sack of Garben Soil to fill the gap below the Planter, then started the Planting
Opened a Bag of Potting Soil, filled each Section with Soil and then eased in a Coleus Plant
With a break in between now and then I finished planting the 12 Plants at 11:15 a.m.
Back in to hook up the Hose and then back out to water in the new Plants... Finished!

Just as I was finishing up the Planter the FedEx Man came down the Hill, dropped off my new RAM
So after I cooled off some from my 'tedious Labor' I unpacked the RAM to Install it
Opened up the Case, went to set the Ram Module in it's Socket and it was the wrong one!
No way would the contacts match up, my mistake or Dells? Well I'll send it back

And then into the Afternoon again and I was just about out of Tequila... at Margarita Time
So off to the Price Chopper to stock my Bar, and I also had that $20 of Winners, bought $20 more
Hadn't lost anything for the Day so worth another Try... Got my Tequila and Headed back
AHA, back at el Ranchito I scratched off a $10 Win and on a new $5 Card I won $40, Third $40 of the Month
And that new Card is fun to work, that one will be a regular Choice

~ Third $40 WIn of the Month ~

So... new Project all finished, enough Lotto wins for the Day, Margarita time and a Porch sitting session
Then the usual Afternoon and Evening windup for the Day... Hoo Ray!

~ Finishing up the new Project ~
~ Next just fill with Soil and Plant the Coleus ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Work almost finished by Margarita Time ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Monday, another Cool Morning and another moderate Day before heading back to the Heat
And maybe I could finish my Planter Project before that happens... Needed more supplies
After I set the assembled Planter in place I noticed at that angle I would need more Separators
The Soil would be too Shallow at the upper End for the Plants, so Six more Separators needed to hold the Soil
That meant one more trip to Lowes for an Eight Foot Board and some Screws

And out into the Cool Morning a little after 7 a.m. The sun just peeking over the Gully
Moved the Planter from the Hill to the Porch and drilled 12 Holes in it for the Screws
Then all I needed was the Screws and the Board to make the Separators... And those are at Lowes

So I jumped in the Shower and then got all shined up and ready and set out for Lowes about 9 a.m.
Hazy Sun to start but I saw ominous dark Clouds in the North, darker as I approached Lowes
Went in, got my Paint, they put in it a Machine to shake it up for you, then picked up my Screws
And then a long walk way back in the Store to find my Board, found one and at a good price too
Checking out I looked out the Door and saw it was raining... but slacked off as I left
Pretty much had stopped as I got back but still it sure Rained on my Monday Parade for outside

So the Rain stopped (I thought) and looked like it would clear up, I wanted to get back to that Planter
But then the Rain came and went all Morning and into the Afternoon, no outside work, chilly and wet out there
So what else was there to do to keep me busy... Housework?... You kidding that's no fun

And then, about 2 p.m. or so, a glimmer of hope, the Sun Came peeking out and warmed up some
Then things began drying out really well and I packed my Tools back outside and started in
And I got most all the new Separators in by 3:15 p.m. and then came in for a Margarita break

Mixed my Margarita, back out to sit in the warming Afternoon and rest up a tad before resuming my heavy labor(?)
A few sips and back to the Sawing and Power Drill Screwing and the Assembly all done by 4 p.m.
Only thing left then was the Painting and positioning and filling with Soil and finally Planting

Some sipping and TV then decided to check it the Wood was dry enough to Paint and it seemed to be
I got my Brush and Paint and headed backout, took some time but I got it looking about like I wanted
Back in again then at 5:30 p.m. to close out an on and off again busy Day with some BQ and Tater Salad

So... More progress on the Projact Monday and we shall see what we can accomplish on Tuesday

~ More to Plant? ~ Yeah, that new Planter to Fill ~

Sunday Morning and a bit on the cool side out there at only 56 Degrees but going to 76 later and that is DNP!
Stayed in bed until 6 a.m. Haven't done that for a while and a project to finish to get up for
Don't know if I will get it finished Sunday but I'll give it a good try, just a little more Carpentering left
Then positioning the Planter on the Hill next to the Stairs, then off to Lowes for some Soil and plants

At 6:30 a.m. had finished and posted my Saturday Blog, next hot up a cup and work my Crossword
Then off to the Price Chopper for a couple things and of course some Lottos

Well then I started on my Project early before I headed out to Lowes and Price Chopper
I had to add four more Separators, that took some time, then I placed the Planter on the Hill
Needed to check what I had to remove or dig to make it fit properly, that would be tedious
I removed some Stones and a Log and saw then what Soil had to be removed, postponed that for later

~ A Closer Look at the Ugly Gap ~

And then off to Lowes for some Potting Soil and looking for some Coleus to plant
And everything in the Garden Area was on a good sale, found a super deal on Coleus and bought 12 Plants
Picked up a Bag of Garden Soil for fill and a bag of Potting Soil to top it off to plant the Flowers
And headed back, stopped by the Price Chopper, bought $18 worth of lottos and a couple necessities
Headed Home to unload and then scratched off $58 in Winners, now that is the way I like it!

~ Second $40 Winner for June ~

On into another Gorgeous Afternoon, 76 Degrees at 2 p.m. Just the way they said, great!
Mixed my Margarita, went out front to enjoy the coolness... And the Sun began to fade some
Well that prompted me to start on the Stair Fix again, set the Planter in place again
Then made some marks on what to add or remove to set it at the Height and Angle I wanted
That was some heavy duty work on that steep slope, so I would work naybe ten Minutes, then Rest for 15
Finally I got it set at the Angle and Height I thought would do, then ready to fill and plant
That was just about 3:30 p.m. It had continued to get more cloudy and started to sprinkle
Time to close down the outside activity and finish up inside

~ Where I ended the Work Session on Sunday Afternoon ~

Back inside to finish out the Day, it didn't do more than sprinkle some outside then cleared up again
And my inside Day finished as usual, and thinking what is needed to finish up tht latest Project

~ Anoher Landscape Project Started ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Cat Missing a few Days ~ Showed up for Breakfast Saturday ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Saturday... Another Gorgeous Day in store, Temperature sounds just right for a pleasant Day
So out and up the Stairs and out back to check the Gardens again, and they look about the Same
There is a new Male Bloom on the Pumpkin Vines, wonder why so many Male Blooms to start and no Female Blooms?
Seems a waste of plant energy, but the Blooms are pretty for One Day anyway

Then off and up the Hill from Windscape, then down the Hill to the Fast Stop for my Daily disaster
And I wasn't diaappointed, all I won was $5... I want Winners only this time of Month
Where did all my $77 and $100 Winnings go anyway? That was $454 worth if nice Winners
So where did it go? I am about broke for the Month already (as usual)

And where was the Cat for about Four Days or more, didn't show up for his daily Handouts
But he was here early Saturday Morning and I had a Bowl waiting in the Fridge for him

And then... My Mechanic friend showed up, wanted me to scan and email a Vehicle Title for him
He is a great Auto Mechanic but hard pressed to run a Computer, lucky to even get one Booted
I emailed his Title and then tried to show him a few procedures that make Computer life easier

He left and then an IDEA! Suddenly I had a Project in Mind... Get rid of an Eyesore out front
I havd been seeing that ugly Stairway for 17 Years, I believed I could fix it fairly Easily
Boss Bob once got an estimate and it was out of sight, this idea wouldn't cost much at all and be prettier at that

~ That Ugly Gap under the Stairs ~

So I jumped right in to my new found Project, plugged in my Drill to charge it up
And then trotted off to P@G Hardware for some of those obsolete pointy things, I think they called them 'Nails"
Would be better for this Project than Screws... Got a pound of Sixteen Penny Nails and headed back
Then 'borrowed' a 16 Foot long 2X6 Board that the Maintenance man left on our Porch
Then I sawed it in half, needed two 8 Foot Boards for my Project, there were also some left over short pieces

Next to assembe the 'Planter' I was making, started with fastening on the Ends and following with the Spacers

~ Getting Ready to Assemble the Planter ~

Then a test fit to see how it would fit on the Ugly Gap and what would have to be moved around
Need to add Four more separators, level the Gap and then in goes the Soil... And what we gonna plan there?

~ Almost there at Three p.m. ~

Nice and cool all day for working on that Project... But I had enough of that by 3 p.m.
So I adjourned that until Sunday and headed back in to finish out that pleasant Day as usual
And I managed to stay up a bit later than usual so had a longer time in bed, got up at 6 a.m. Sunday
Now more good weather predicted for Sunday and that Project to work on some more... Off we go

Wow! What a busy busy Day on Thursday, something going on all Day, inside and out
And that total Victory installing the new SSD in Dell One and the one from Dell One into Dell Four
Now the new Desktop is peppy like the rest with that SSD and also has all the Programs and Data from Dell One
Don't really need it now but sure does make up as a great Spare just in case

And now the Weather looks great for Friday, starting at 73 Degrees at 6 a.m. and topping at 79
Much cooler and should be a more pleasant Day overall... Thursday was the longest Day of the Year
And surely did need to be with all that I got done... Now Today... again, no plans at all (so far)

So, off in the Sunny Morn to the Minit Mart, chose Four of my favorite Cards, headed Home
Scratched off a bit of Luck, but only $15, a loss of $5 to start my Day, what's next?
Well up on the Deck to tie up a wandering Sweet Tater Vine that dropped off the Rail
Then around back to check the Crops, looked the same as Thursday except I saw the first tiny Cucumber

And up in the Paw Paw Tree... Hey Hey!... Two Paw Paws up there, then I saw a few more
So maybe if the Squirrels don't get them maybe I can sample one later

~ Paw Paws showing up on the Trees ~

On into the gorgeous Afternoon, warm, sunny but not Hot, just right for Veranda Sitting
My friend Pat was at the Nature Sanctuary helping with a Volunteer Youth Group
She said she would stop by afterward to pick up a Carpet Steam Cleaner I wasn't using
So waiting for that, I took one more trip to the Price Chopper for some goodies and some more Lottos tries
And I tried hard but only won $25 more, just exactly where is that Big One I have tried for the last 20 Years?

Back home playing on the Computer, Pat came by about 2 p.m. We sat out front chatting for a few minutes
Then she loaded up the Cleaner and headed back up the Hill to Home, that Steamer was like new
Used it a little years ago but after that wasn't using it at all and glad to get it out of the Pantry, just sitting Idly in there

That was about it for the Day, put a hunk of BBQ Ribs in the Oven to hot up, made some Tater Salad
Then just whiled out the rest of the Day the usual Ho Humm Afternoon and Evening way... Well it suits me OK

Now so soon, another Weekend, and a Week until Pay Day and again running out of throw away money
I just need ONE Big Lotto Win and I'll be back in the Saddle again... Por Favor... Quiero Dinero!

~ Visitor Day Again ~
~ Picked and Pickled Pickling Peppers ~
~ Got my new SSD Installed ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ First Teeny Seedlings from the Beet Seed Tape ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The penalty for going to Bed at 7 p.m. Wide awake at 3 a.m. Gave up at 3:30 a.m. and got up
So Thursday would be a long long Day, just have to try to stay up a little later in the Evening
But after Dinner, the TV, that last Glass of Wine and I just get sleepy, so there too

And what is in store for Thursday, a Visit from Pat, maybe my new SSD shows up and what else?
An early check online for my SSD, says it left Lenexa but how? On the Truck for delivery? (I hope)
No real hurry or need for it, I just want to get it Cloned and installed in the new Computer
See if that will speed up that slow poke... after that the wait for the additional 8GB of Ram to get here

So, off to the new Day, time to sweep those pesky Brown Millipedes off the Porch again
This has been the worst infestation of them ever here in the last 17 Years, and hasn't ended yet
I have kept them pretty much out of the House with Carpet and Duct Tape at the Door
But there must have been Thousands of them so far, the Porch had them end to end Thursday Morning
This time I pulled up the Tapes from the Door Sill, then took my Vacuum out, vacuumed up Hundreds of dead ones
Then poured some BT on the Porch Floor outside the Sill, now see what that will do

~ Getting Rid of the Millipedes ~

After that about 7:30 or so, I hooked up the Hose, headed out back at 7 a.m. to water the Gardens
And lookee there... finally, a few Beet Seedlinga popped up from the Seed Tape, how long was that planted?
One advantage of my Drivel Pages, I can check Dates and other stuff, OK, found it, June 6th
Sixteen Days! No wonder I was thinking my Seed Tape was a failure, maybe beets are just slow?

And on the way back in, checking the Sweet Potato Vines again, almost as high as they can go
And more Vines and Leaves from the Tater, maybe even a bigger Crop than last Year?

~ A Couple Inches from the Deck Rail ~ Now Where To? ~

And then time to venture my short supply of Capital on the Missouri Lottery again... Off to the Fast Stop
Bought $20 worth of my Favorite Tickets, Home to scratch off a $15 and a $10, a $5 Profit before Breakfast
But before that, back out front to water everything out there and really well, things looked thirsty
And, a good look at the Sweet Pickling Pepper Pot... Maybe it's time to do something with those pretty Peppers

~ Sweet Pickling Peppers ~ Next... Pickle Them ~

So I got a Pot and went back out to Pick the Pickling Peppers and a few Jalapenos too
Next to whup up some Pickling Brine and pickle them, over 40 Peppers there but tiny
Probably won't even fill a half pint Jar, but we ahall see, shall we not>

Time Marches On!... I needed some stuff from the Price Chopper so I headed that way, Milk for Breakfast
Triple Sec for my Margarita and Dos Equis Cervesa for my Guest... And some Candy Orange Slices to boot
And traded in my $25 worth of Winners for $25 worth of Losers, that brought the Day to Noon

Then some Lunch, put a load of wash in the Washer and started on the pickled Peppers
I had some Pickling Brine already made in the Fridge, just needed to trim the Peppers and drop in the simmering Brine

Started the Brine to simmering, nipped the ends off the little Peppers, put them in the Pot for a few Minutes
Then into a Half Pint Jar and I was right about the amount, just a half of a half Pint
Next I did the same with those eight Jalapenos, and they made just a half of another half Pint

~ Jalapenos Pickled ~ Sweet Pickling Peppers Pickled ~

Well now, a busy busy Day... Trotted up the Hill (in my Blazer) at 2 p.m. to check the Mail
And the Package with my new SSD and Cables was there, back to start the Cloning operation
Loaded the 'Migration' Program, fired it up, plugged in the SSD with a USB Cable, then started the Clone
And this can take quite a while, all the Data and Programs from the SSD from Dell One to the new SSD

So... I started the cloning at 2:15 p.m. Tick Tock, Tick Tock... takes a lot of time... Yeah
So I went in to watch some TV while it was cloning away... Back in to check at 3:10 p.m. and said 99%..
Tick Tock, Tick Tock... And Five more Minutes and said 'Disk Cloned Successfully'... Took an Hour

And then... I took the 250 GB SSD out of Dell One, installed the newly Cloned 500 GB SSD instead
I booted it up, and then what's this? It started installing Windows 10 on what I thought should have been the SSD

So that took forever and while that was going on I installed the 250 GB SSD from Dell One into Desktop Dell Four
I booted up the new Computer but it booted from the original Hard Drive, I went to the BIOS and changed it to the SSD
So It now boots from the SSD, just what I wanted and it did speed up the Computer rather nicely

Back to Dell Two, it finally got Windows 10 installed on the Hard Drive, OK that's good but I wanted it to boot from the SSD
Back to the BIOS, set the SSD as first Boot drive, booted it up and VOILA! Just like I wanted it! SUCCESS!

And then Pat came to visit, part of rhe SSD swap was still going on and we chatted as I did ths and that
When things were going good, we adjourned from the Computer Play Room back to 'El Pato Teatro Imperial'
And we caught up on my latest Video, some of my Web Pages, my BLOG, some local News and more Chat
A nice visit as always, and she left to go back up the Hill to Home and left me to my Day ending routine

So a busy busy nice Weather Day, Garden Day, Ccmputer Day and Friend Visiting Day, just great and not bored a Minute all Day

What was left? Just get some Chow and then rest up for another Great Day on Friday!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And off in the Sunshine to the Price Chopper at 7:30 a.m. to waste another $20 Bill
Picked Four of my Favorites and headed Home... Back to scratch off Two $15 Winners, HAH! $10 Profit
And then out at 8 a.m. at 75 Degrees, up the Stairs and around back to check the Crops again

Gardens looking pretty good, lots of Blooms but no Cucumbers yet, Pepper plants growing slowly
The Seven Tomatoes are looking good, but not many new ones setting on (yet)... Some Chard getting some size

~ Looking for some Swiss Chard now ~

Another Male Bloom on the Pumpkin Vines, now watching again for a Female Bloom
I'll pollenate it, if and when, and then maybe get a Pumpkin this Year, I want some Pie for T-Day ya know

~ New Male Bloom on the Pumpkin Vine ~

And then a climb up the Hill to the Bench to check the Cannas I transplanted there
And looks like they are holding on, need some weeding around then though

~ Cannas doing Ok ~ Need some weeding ~

Then what? Well $10 ahead, let's go win some more... Headed down the Hill to the Fast Stop
Some Chat with Roos Beck, traded in my $30 of Winners for $30 more prospects, then more Chat
And then headed back to check my Luck and seems I lost it on the way back, NO WINS!

Well then, just waiting for the Bug Man to come and spray, they do that every few Months
A few squirts here and there and usually a change of the Furnace Filter and they are gone
Also was waiting for the new SSD I ordered to arrive, they said 'Arriving Wednesday'
But I checked around 11 a.m. and it said just arrived in Lenexa Kansas so looks like not on Wednesday

And the Bug Man came and went and my new SSD did not, not much to do the rest of the Day
Just some puttering around, the usual Afternoon, got to sit out front for a while in the Heat
Back in to finish out the Afternoon and Evening, some Enchiladas and Arroz con Pollo for Dinner
One more Glass of Wine and off to Dreamland

~ Sipping my Margarita and thinking I am seeing Things ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

P.S from Monday... Cocktail time again on Monday, sipping my Margarita out front
Watching the Clouds drift by and seeing Faces in he Clouds again, am I nutz or what?

And now... Tuesday... Looking good. saying 71 to 91... and Sunny, I could stand a little less than 91 Degrees though
And again nothing planned for the long Day ahead, out back for a Morning peek at the Gardens
Wanted to check the Pumpkin Blooms again, no new ones, first ones drying up, they only last a Day or so
In the Pepper Bed, I saw a couple tiny Peppers appeared, they said 'Maxibell' on the Lable, these look like 'Minibells'

~ Maxibell Pepper? ~

And then, the Paw Paw Trees were bare all winter, looked like they had died
But now they are loaded with Leaves again, wonder if I can find any Paw Paws this year?

~ Lots of Leaves on the Paw Paw Trees ~

Then out a Lotto hunt and then what? Feeling bored already at 5:30 a.m. Ho Hummm...
Later I headed first to the Price Chopper, traded in a $10 card for another at the Service Counter... Lost on that one
Then over to Lotto Machine number Two, got Four more cards, Lost on all Four

Well what do ya do after that? Lay down and Cry? Nah, let's go see Roos Beck at the Fast Stop
There I dropped another $20 and got Four more of my Favorite $5 Cards, and lost on Three
But then the last one had a nice Surprize for me, the Third $100 Win of the Month... Hey Hey!
Time to quit? Never say quit, I still had some of the Last $100 Win in my Pocket, back to the Fast Stop
I had to show Roos Beck my Winner, he said HOORAY! And I bought two more $10 Tickets and of course lost on them

~ Third $100 Winner for June ~

Seems moat all the action for any Day is mostly before Noon and just coasting after Noon
And Tuesday was about the same, I did take the time to clean out my Pantry for once... It was filthy!
I have just been stashing stuff in there for the last 15 years or so, and not bothering to sweep or mop
So I took all the Items out that were on the Floor, trashed some, then vacummed and mopped the Floor
I put some Items back in, some other places and some out in the trash, looks a lot better

I have had a power Carpet Cleaner machine in there forever, used it a couple times when I bought it
And now haven't used it since, thought my friend Pat might want it, I called her... Yes!
She was wanting to buy one, this one is like new, she is coming over Thursday to get it and then visit some

So, pretty good Day over all, looking for another one Wednesday

~ Weeded the Pumpkin Patch ~
~ Just a Kickin' Back Day ~

~ Blooms now on the Pumpkin Vines ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Monday, Monday... What to do on Monday? Checked the Bank... Checked Facebook, Checked Email
Finished and Posted Sunday's Drivel page, a Cup of Coffee, worked my Crossword, then what?
65 Degrees at 6 a.m. Waiting for some Daylight to head out back to weed the Pumpkin Patch

Out in the early Morning light at 7 a.m. and up the Hill to the Gardens in the back... Shady and cool
Everything looking great after those Three Nights of Rain, Cucumbers, Peppers, Beets, Chard and Tomatoes
Two of those Blooms I saw on the Pumpkin Vines Sunday opened up beautifully, but are Male Blooms
And the Male Blooms do not produce Pumpkins, I got no Female Blooms in last Years attempt
So then I weeded the Pumpkin bed, why do the Weeds outproduce the Veggies Plants?

Back in then at 7:30 a.m to finish up my Morning Routine and then set out for my Fortune

Well, some Good Luck, a $77 Winner Saturday and a $100 Winner on Sunday, what wonder does Monday hold?
Headed to the Price Chopper Service Counter to see what may be hiding there
I won enough to go back and try again, then a Third time, trading in Wins and buying new Tickets
And I won a $10, $10, $15, $15, and $15 Win and still no Profit for the Day, so that was that

From then on there wasn't much going on, just kicking back, doing this and that, enjoying the Weather
Then playing around with the new surplus Desktop, I was unhappy with it's slow performance
Thinking more RAM might speed it up, I ordered 8GB more, even though I don't need that Box at all now
And then thinking an SSD might also speed it up, was thinking, buy a new 500GB SSD for the Dell One
Then removing the 250GB SSD from Dell One and installing it in the New Dell... Dell Two could use the bigger one

So then I opened up the Case on the New One... see where to put the SSD, yes, a 2.5in HD Bracket there
But no wires, usually there are empty Cables to be able to install a second HD, so then what?
Looked online, Amazon had the Cables necessary... So... order the new SSD and Cables or what... now pending

And that was pretty much the Day, some porch sitting, some Afternoon TV, some Dinner, some Evening TV
And then Good Night Irene... Good Night... I'll see you in my Dreams

Well now, I woke up in the middle of the Night for Three Days in a row to T-Storms
And the Alarm Clock was blinking again, means the Power was off again for a while
So it looks like another Day or two I won't have to water the Gardens

A peek at the Weather at 7 a.m. says it's cooler at 66 and later a high of 83 Degrees
That's more my style of sitting out front, 'enjoying the weather' kind of Day
And where did we wander off to for the Daily Lotto fiasco? I had a $6 winner to trade
I thought I would try the Lotto Machine Number One at the Price Chopper

Well Sunday's try wasn't a fiasco, I had a little Lady Luck here and there
I started at the Price Chopper, cashed in a $6 Ticket and bought $36 more...
Back Home to scratch off a $3, $6 and $100 Win, not too shabby at that, second $100 of the Month
And then a trot down the Hill to the Fast Stop, cashed in that $109 of Wins, got $29 more
Then back to el Ranchito to scratch off $25 in Wins, good enough for the Day

~ Second $100 Winner for June ~

And a nice Day, 'DNP' Weather... And just at 75 Degrees at Noon on a sunny Day
Took a hike out back to check things... The Pepper Seeds and the Beet Seed Tapes I planted not up yet
Thinking they should be popping up about now but not a sign so far, the Pumpkin Vines are starting to Bloom though
I need to weed the Pumpkin Patch but have to do that early when the sun isn't bearing down so Hot

On to a cooler Day, the temp just about right for me, slight breeze and in the 80s...
Sipping my Afternoon libation and working on a Dinner later, I get a Phone Call, my Mechanic Friend
Always sayng 'Whatcha doing?' I says 'Making Green Beans'... Then he starts in...
'You don't make green beans you uh... cook them...' Really? DAYUM... I didn't know that

Anyway, I fixed his Computer a few Days back, got rid a nasty Virus, now he has more troubles (he thinks)
He says there is a thing in the middle of his Screen and runnng on and on... It was a program running a Malware Scan
I told him just close it, it will run again when when it's time, he says How? I said there is a little red dot in the corner
He says it isn't a dot, it is an X... I said whatever... just click on it... Darn... who doesn't know that anyway?

Well I wanted to install the free McAfee Anti-Virus he gets from AT&T anyway so I told him to bring it over again
And if he had a few minutes, he sure needs some basic Computer Instruction, he can't figure anything out it seems...

Then I got a Call from my Neighbor Friend Patricia, and we had a nice Catch-up chat about this and that
She wants to come over again next week for more Catch up, my Garden and what all, so that should be fun
And on to Dinner and TV all over again, more BBQ, a Baked Tater, those 'made' Green Beans, delish!

~ Some BBQ, Baked Tater and Green Beans ~

And off to Bed again way too early... But I had a good nght and stayed in bed until 'almost' 4:30 a.m.
And... I am ready for Monday all over again, after a pleasant and lucky Weekend... On to the new Week!

~ A Mostly Quiet Day ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The Weatherman said Friday evening that Storms would roll in around Midnight and they sure did
And they lasted for quite a while, we must have got quite a lot more Rain from the way it sounded
The Gardens and ground out back were watered very thoroughly from Thursday Night's Rain already

So what's in store for today?, saying mostly Sunny again and again with a high in the 90s
And I was feeling bored already at 6 a.m. No plans for the Day as yet... But something will pop up
Seems I have to have some project to work on or play with to keep me happy in my dotage
That Virus chase on Friday was interesting for me for about an Hour and so happy I eliminated it

And then, off to seek my Fortune all over again, headed down the Hill to the Fast Stop
Traded in a $10 Winner plus a $20 Bill for $30 worth of Lottos, some chat wint Riis Beck and headed Home
Hotted up a Cup of Coffee and worked my Lottos.. Lookee there a $77 Winner, can there be more
Scratched off another, a $5 Win, well better than nuthin, try again, next one a $20 Winner, that made $102 for the Day

~ Second $77 Winner for June ~

Took a walk out back, things mostly looking good, nothing special to report, looking for the new Seeds to sprout
Back in just to play around on the Computer for a while, adding programs to the new Dell Inspiron
And it is just so slow compared to Dell One and Two, but only has 8GB of Ram and no SSD like the others
I sure don't need it now but I ordered another 8GB of Ram for it, see if that would speed it up
Not sure if adding an SSD would do me any good in that regard, maybe I'll see what the added Memory does

And that took me to Margarita Time, mixed one and went out front to sit for a bit, but just too hot out there
I got a catch up Photo of the Cucumber Vines and then headed back in for some afternoon TV
There are more Vines coming from the Sweet Potato this year, wonder if that means more Sweet Potatoes later in the Pot

~ No place left to Climb ~

And that was about it for the Day, got into Afternoon TV, had Dinner too early, got sleepy too early
Managed to stick it out until 6 p.m. and gave up and went to Bed too early... DARN!

So an early start for Sunday... Let's see what the Day may bring

~ Friday Already? ~ Where did this Week Go! ~
~ Some Early Garden Maintenance ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

So... 6 a.m. Friday Morning, 70 Degrees and going to 91... Wonder how much Rain we got Thursday Night?
I'll take a trot out back to check the Gardens, looking for the new Beets to pop up
No watering needed Thursday and probably none needed for Friday so nothing outside much to do

Still shady, cool and damp out back, very comfy to work on things, like the Weeds
First I did some Bed straightening, the Pepper Bed was leaning a bit, so I braced it with a bit of Wire
Then around to the back of that Bed and pulled Weeds between the Peppers and Cucumbers
That done... next to the Tomato bed, pulled Weeds and snipped sagging Stems and Leaves from the Stalks
The first Seven Tonmatoes growing some and a few new ones are setting on now, when do we get the first ripe one?

~ Tomatoes Looking Good ~

Needed to run a few Errands so I took off to the Minit Mart... Needed a Tank of Gas, got that
Then went inside to trade in what I thought was a $3 Ticket... HAH! It was a $15 Winner so I got Three more
And then I stopped back by Walgreens to get some Smooth Lax and found it was on a special for half Price!
Next next Door to the Price Chopper, needed Cat Food, Candy, Apple Juice and Nuts, got all that
And back Home to scratch off another $15 Winner, that wasn't much but sure was a Winner Morning at that

'Time Marches On!'... Remember seeing that at the Movies?, well no, that was quite a long tme ago
Anyway I got a Call from my Friend with a Computer Problem... Sounded like a Virus to me, I said bring it over
He arrived some time later, I took a look, yeah... He had a NASTY One, trying to Hijack his Data for ransome
Well if I had the 'Say So'... No trial.. I would hang everyone that messes with other's Computers!

Anyway, I fired it up and started hunting around, and this was a sticky one... Yeah!
So I started with 'SUPERAntiSpyware' Professional, it's pretty good, but it came up with nothing to solve the problem
Next I tried a scan with the built In 'Windows Defender' and again no results.. I still had a couple more Ideas
Like a 'System Restore' or installing the free McAfee Anti-Virus that AT@T provides with their ISP
But first I wanted to try 'MalwareBytes' and downloaded and installed that... ran a Scan and the Virus was gone!

And then later my friend came back by to pick up the Laptop and I tried to tell him how to navigate more safely
But he is just not the Computer type and just can't get the hang of what is going on, what to do, what not to do
I mixed him a Margarita, some Computer instruction and advice then he trotted home with his Laptop>

And I went on to finish out my Day as usual, TV, Dinner and then Bedtime and stayed up a little later... Goodie!

~ Half Way through June ~ Summer Time Next ~
~ And a really Hot Day ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And now Thursday... Looks like a Hot Day ahead,, saying 95, tht's overdoing it a bit for my taste
Hooked up the Hose and headed out back to water everything... But it looked like we had a good rain overnight
So everything was all well watered already but I did do a little Weeding back there, what else to do?
Well I thought up another Idea to clean up the look of the Stairs to the upper Apartments, an eyesore now
But I need a couple of Boards for that and maybe I can latch on to a couple when they redo the next Deck

OK then, time to try that Gooseberry Pie for Breakfast, I'll whack off a slice and taste test it

~ My Gooseberry Pie ~ With the Kool Whip ~

I sliced up my Pie, those Berries were sure juicy! Lots of filling running out onto the Plate
But it sure was tasty.... Tastes a lot better than it looks... And similar to the Rhubarb taste
But on both extremes of taste... I think it is sweeter and more tart than Rhubarb
As they say in England... "This gooseberry pie is a rollercoaster of flavours
Sharp at one end of the scale and Sweet at the other" From BBC Good Food magazine

Time moving slowly for the Day, 10 a.m. and had not been out chasing Lottos yet
But I took off for the Price Chopper to see if the 'Wheel of Fortune' would smile on me
Oh now, that brings back memories, I remember when they played that Song over and over at the NCO Club
Back in 1952 when I was stationed at Luke AFB near Phoenix... Out in the Patio under the Stars... ahhh yes

~ Wheel of Fortune ~ Kay Starr ~

~ My USAF Friend Dave ~ In front of the NCO CLub ~ The Patio in Back ~

Well Lady Luck didn't smile on me, not even a sly grin, only won $10, better luck tomorrow... Please
Time moved on slowly into the Afternoon, finally time to mix my Daily Afternoon libation, I did that
Then toddled out front, hopefiuly toenjoy the beautidul Weather, wekk it was gorgeous but too Hot
I gave it maybe Five Minutes and headed back into the Cool inside and started on a slow slow afternoon

Watched the TV News for a long long Time and then found a Movie to take over, did head out to set up Dinner for later
And it wasn't much later, I hotted up some more Enchiladas and Chili much earlier than usual and got sleepy
But I held on as long as I could, gave up at 6 p.m. and headed for Bed and more of those Dreams

On the Weather News, the said there were Storms heading straight for Kansas City, would show up after Dark
And I don't rrmember just what tine but they did Show with a lot loud T-Booming and I suppose more Rain
I saw when I would up later that we did have a Power Outage, my Alarm Clock was Blinking

Back to a long night of on and off sleep and finished the Night with a long involved Dream, now can't remember what
I thought when I first woke up... that Dream would make a real good Movie...wonder where it came from

So now time to upload and post this Drivel and get started on a new Day

~ Dentist Day ~ Just Cleaning ~
~ Baked Gooseberry Pie ~ Pickled Jalapenos ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Out in Front enjoying Flag Day ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A long slow Morning before Dentist time... Got up a little after 4 a.m. Just went to Bed too early again
So, checked my Bank, Checked Facebook, checked my Mail, finished and posted Tuesday's Blog... ho hum...
Put a load of wash in the Washer, swept the Kitchen Floor and what to do then? ho hum...

Thought I heard a thunder rumble about 6:30 a.m. Could we be getting some Rain?
Checked the weather Forecast... said Partly Sunny and 76 Degrees, High of 89, that looked good
And off to the Dentist at 8:30 a.m. Checked in and signed up for their Dental Program, better price than Delta
Then in the Chair and the tedious Process began... a Tooth extraction is easier than a cleaning and over sooner
All that scraping and flushing and taking so long... My Mos Surgery didn't take that long
She finished and the Dentist came in, poked around for Five Minutes and then 'See ya in December!'

Well I was chatting earlier on Facebook with a couple of my Lady Fans, talking about Rhubarb Pie
And then I told them about Gooseberry Pie and they didn't know what that was... So I said I'll bake one
So I stopped in on the way home to get some Gooseberries... WOW $3.59 a Can, I got Two, that should do
And some Pie Crusts and Kool Whip to put on top, back Home to make the Pie, and pretty easy

~ Stuff to make the Pie ~ Where's the Kool Whip? ~

Put the Berries in the Pan, some Sugar, a little Flour, a little Allspice, simmer a while
Then into the Crust and Into the Oven... 45 Minutes later... We got Pie!
Now, when it cools and sets up, a Slice of that with some Kool Whip... yeah!

~ Looks like about a Week of Gooseberry Pie ~

On to the Afternoon and getting very warm... A quick hike out back... The Radishes didn't do much in the Cucumber Bed
And I still had some Mexibell Pepper Seeds so I planted some out in the Cucumber Bed, see what they do there

Then on the way back in I noticed Three nice Blooms on my Eggplant Plant in the Pot
I didn't get any edible Eggplants from my try in 2016, none since 2014 when I had a nice Crop

~ Blooms now on my Eggplant ~

I hope I get some this Year, I don't buy the big ones at the Store, seedy and bitter
I like to pick mine small and fix them my several ways and they are Delish!

I planted the Skinny Type in 2015 and I did get some to try out but the best ones were in 2014
And I hope I got the same kind in that Pot this year, I think I got the last Plant that Larry's Nursery had

~ Real Nice Eggplant in 2014 ~ And Crispy Oven Fried ~

Hooked up the Hose and back out front again, this time to water everything and most everything looking good
The Jalapeno Peppers looked kind of 'wilty' though so when I finished watering I picked all the Peppers
About the same as last time, maybe around 20 or so but small ones, but they are good too... Good and Hot!
I had some Pickle Brine left from last Time, and I emptied the Brine from the Jar of Pickled Peppers
Put the Brine in the Pot, rinsed and trimmed the ends off the Peppers and into the Pot to simmer
And then the new Peppers on top of the last ones in the Jar, filled up the Jar and Voila! ...now a full Jar of Jalapenos

~ Now a full Jar of Jalapenos ~

And again that was the last outdoor activity of the Day and it was a busy Day... On to Dinner
Some more BBQ Ribs nuked up with BBQ Beans and a Dinner Roll, quite ample
Another dose of 'Longmire' and then toddled off to Bed

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~
