~ Last Day of the Merry Month of May ~
~ Then June will come Bustin' Out all Over! ~

~ The Humming Birds are Back ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

So... now it is Wednesday... One Day left in May and then it is June, June, June!
And Pay Day by the Way... and all out of Money again, (well I do have Credit Cards)...

Bye the Bye... Haven't seen a lot of the Humming Birds this Year, maybe Three or four single Visits earlier
But sitting out there on Tuesday I saw one little Ruby Throat come by Four or Five times while I was out there

Started this Gorgeous Day out front watering all the Plants and then around back to do the same
Saw out back that it was time to tie up the Cucumber Vines and a couple of Tomato Plants needed another String
So I got my String and Clippers and went back out to do that, and then on the way back in did the same for the Sweet Potato
I Tied another String to the Sweet Potato Trellis for another Vine to climb, now about 5 or 6 Vines trying

~ Showing Cucumber Vines where to Climb ~

~ Keeping the Tomato Plants Straight ~

On to a just this and that Day, no big Projects, just keeping busy, did some Laundry, straightened up the Kitchen a bit
Some rearranging of the stuff in the Freezer, getting out stuff for 'What's for Dinner', some Computer stuff
On into the Afternoon and a 'Boulevard Pale Ale' out in that again Gorgeous Weather, and watching the Birdies
Looks like a different Bird at the Birdhouse, new Tenant?, looked like she was feeding one inside

And as I slipped on through the Afternoon I saw the little Ruby Throated Humming Bird again
He kept flitting in and out, lots more than usual lately, I thought it was time to post my Video again
I did post one of my Videos on Facebook early, the 'Downy Woodpecker' invading the Feeder
So now a repeat of the Ruby Throated male from some time back... Just for the Birds!

Well that was about it for the last of Wednesday and the last of May, just close out with Dinner and TV
And I did that quite easily but got sleepy early and hit the sack again way too early
But that means I get to start the First of June before the Birdies get their worm... off we go!

~ The Day after Memorial Day ~
~ And on the Way to the Dermatologist Again ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well what a good entertaining Day for the Holiday, Great Weather, Great Food, Great Company... Yeah!
So a bit of an unpleasant start for Tuesday, head back to the Dermatologist again
Last week's Surgery all healed up and they will probably take the stitches out
And then do another Mohs Surgery a bit higher on the same Cheek, I am thinking this one might be easier
I hope he can get it all in the first Try like last time, very tedious to go back for more Surgery the same Day

And off to the Races at 7:30 a.m. Traffic unusually light on this trip, made it in less than 15 Minutes
Checked in, had a seat, some Chat with a Lady waiting her turn, she was called in quickly
Not long after, my turn, I was so eager to get in that Room again... Got the usual Prep...
The Doctor will be in shortly, well not so shortly, but he popped in and got started, not too long and he was done

Off to the Patient Waiting Room for the later Judgement, a lot of friendly Chat going on, I was having a great time
And there were FOUR 'Donalds' waiting in that Room at the same Time, how often does that happen?
Finally about 9:30 or so, I was called back in and good news, got it all the first try again...
So then it was Cauterizing, and Sewing and Bandaging and then out came the Stitches from last Time
I thought this time would be easier than last but actually just a tad more tedious, a couple mild pain twinges

And then I checked out and headed back to Parkville... and stopped on the way back at the Fast Stop
Got some Tickets and a bit of Chat with Roos Beck and then headed Home to win $10... Oh well

And then, took a couple Tylenol just in case of pain after the Anesthetic wore off
Then shaved the whiskers off that had been under the Bandage and over the Stitches, then a Photo for the Record

~ One more 'Mohs' Surgery ~ One more than Enough ~

And on to the rest of another Gorgeous Day, Sunny and 79 Degrees at 3 p.m. but not much happening
Well it would take a lot to surpass tha active Day on Monday, hard to beat that one
So another quick check out back, should have watered the Transplants when I planted them
I thought the Soil was moist enough to hold them until Wednesday when I would drag the Hose out back again
But the bright Sun and warm Weather just about did them in, it looks like, anyway I'll water them and see if they come back

So, that time of Month again, need to run over to I-435 to trade Lottos and pick up my Payment fron the Clerk there
And I headed that way just at 3 p.m. He starts work at 3 p.m. usually, then works the Night shift
So there, in less than 10 Minutes, walked in, he was at the Counter, then a big smile and then Oh Oh!
He said I forgot! Can you wait a couple days? Why Shore I ain't quite broke yet... Then he said come with me
Led me out the back Door, lookee there, a beautiful Black, like brand new Honda, just gorgeous, he finally got a Car
I though it was new, it looked so good inside and out but it was used and he got a great price
Again he apologized, said he would pay me soon... no problem, see ya then... and back then to Parkville

Nothing much after that except finish the Afternoon sitting out front, the Cat came by for Dinner
I went in to get him something, took it out, he attacked the Bowl, ate it all and wandered off

~ Is that Safe to Eat? ~ Yeah, Looks OK ~ Yeah, Tastes OK ~

And then I went back in, found me some Dinner watched some TV and wandered off to Bed...
OK Now, what for Wednesday? Shall we see?

~ Memorial Day ~
~ BBQ and a Guest on the Way ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

7 a.m. Monday Morning, 63 Degrees, saying mostly Sunny and 78 Degrees, fine Weather for the Holiday
The Beef Ribs and Chicken out of the Fridge first thing, let them warm up some and then into the Smoker at 8 a.m.
Then four Hours of smoking, take the Chicken out of the Smoker, and flip the Ribs to smoke some more
Went out a little before 8 a.m. to light the Fire and put a 'loglet' in the Smoker, the Cat was waiting
So I went back in, got him some Food then went back in for the Ribs and Chicken...
Then the Ribs and Chicken into the Smoker and I headed down the Hill to the Fast Stop to harass Roos Beck

Lots of chat with Roos... and picture showing of my Blog... the ribs and all... He said he would be by at a little after 3 p.m
Now 9 a.m. after coming back from the Fast Stop to win nothing... this place is smelling wonderful.. Inside and out
Cherry Wood Smoke and Chicken and Ribs barbecuing, just Loverly... so what else is there to do? Not a clue

10 a.m. and getting warm out there, up to 71 Degrees and I got an Idea... don't I always?
But first I checked the Wood in the Smoker, needed another loglet so I added one back in
And then... those two remaining Pepper Plants in AeroGarden 7 had no place to go, just too tall for that Garden
Well that Sweet Pickling Pepper plant I moved outside is doing good, maybe these would too

So I took the Plants out of the Aerogarden into a Bucket to take out back along with my Trowel
Out back at the Pepper Bed, took the Gate off the Back, dug two deep Holes and set the Pepper Plants in
Then packed the Soil around the Stems and all set in their new Home... Hope they like it

And then back in at 10:30 a.m. that episode only took about Twenty Minutes... Now what next?
Well first... Cool off a bit, I worked up a sweat out back there in the hot Sun doing all that Digging

~ Last look at the Peppers in the Aerogarden ~ Then in their new Home Out Back ~

Back out to check the Memorial Day Feast at 11 a.m. Added another Wood Chunk, flipped the Ribs and Chicken
I think another half hour the Chicken will be ready, and the Ribs to Foil wrap and place in the Oven to finish
Thought then I would run back down to the Fast Stop and try some more Tickets, the old Guy that visits Roos Beck was there
So we had quite a bit of chatter and chat and then I got my loser Tickets and headed back... and I lost again

It was juat a little after 11:30 when I got back, time to get that stuff out of the Smoker
Brought it all in, wrapped the Chicken for later, it was done, then wrapped the Ribs and into the Oven
They say that Ribs take from Six to Eight Hours to cook properly, they were in the Smoker for Three and a Half
So I am figuring at least another Two Hours in the Oven at 250 Degrees should do it... I hope
The last time I smoked them they came out just great

And so... Time Marches On! 2 p.m. Time to check the Ribs in the Oven, looked done to a turn to me
I turned off the Oven, took the Ribs out, cut them into individual Ribs and then back in the Oven
I put the Ribs back into the Oven to hold Warm, heat turned off, I put the Chicken back too so it would stay warm
Then 2:30 p.m. Mixed my Margarita and went to sit outside on that Gorgeous Day until my Guest Arrived...

~ Memorial Day BBQ Feast with Roos Beck ~

And then at 3 p.m. I saw Roos coming down the Hill, parked across the Street came over with a Sack of Bread and Juice
I had my Margarita to sip, he poured a Glass of Juice and we sat out front to chat a bit
Then it was back in for the Memorial Day Feast and entertainment, brought out the Ribs and Chicken
Everything into the Living Room on the Coffee Table in front of the TV, and I got some Photos

And then it was a long long SAfternoon of eating, when that was satisfied we watched a lot of TV, mostly my Vidoes
And finished up playing some of Andre Rieu in Concert, he likes Classical Music as I do

Finally at 6 p.m. it was time for him to head out for Home, I packed up some Chickan and Ribs to take with him

And then I wrapped up that long and pleasant Day with more TV and a Glass of Vino Tinto
Gorgeous Weather, Delicious BBQ Feast, Good Company and a Great way to Celebrate another Memorial Day!

~ Another Nice Sunny Day ~
~ Mostly just Watering the Gardens ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Sunday Morning, Sunny and 63 Degrees, a bit cooler start but a nice high of 79 Degrees predicted
And after that busy busy Day on Saturday, no plans as of 8 a.m. but something will develop
All that delicious Pork Spareribs Smoking done on Saturday, another BBQ set for Memorial Day
My self invited Guest Roos Beck requested Beef Back ibs and Chicken and that is on the Menu

~ Beef Ribs and Chicken Thighs for Memorial Day BBQ ~

So off to the Price Chopper to invest some of my Saturday Wins for more Chances, not as good luck to start, only won $15
I thought then that I would head back down to the Fast Stop where I did all my big Winning Saturday
Some chat with Roos Beck, traded in $15 of Wins for $30 worth of chances and back Home to scratch off another $15 in Wins

Then on to a slow Day, with just fine Weather, I hooked up the Hose and took a walk out back to check things
The Tomatoes are still the Stars of the show, doing better than last year and lots of Blooms
The rest of the Plants are coming along but nothing outstanding yet, takes time and patience
So I watered everything out back including climbing up to the Bench and watering the Cannas there
Looks like a couple gave up and a few more are trying to make it, I am not expecting great results
Then I watered the Plants on the Side and then dragged the Hose out front, time for a break at 2 p.m.

A short Break and then out to Water everything out front, taking a break every five Minutes under my Umbrella
I noticed the 'Sweet Pickling Pepper' had a lot of little Peppers on it, hard to see in this Pohto but lots if them, all colors
Maybe if more turn Red I can get a better Photo... I got the watering done and went in to mix a Margarita

~ Sweet Pickling Pepper doing Better out Front ~

Back out and just sipping, enjoying the Weather and the view... Lots of fluffy ClLouds again
Why do I keep seeing Faces in the Clouds? I see them every time we have that kind of Cloud
Maybe an overactive creative imagination... I pointed them out to a neighbor once... he saw nothing

~ I can see the Old Man's Face... Can You? ~

And then back in for the rest of the Afternoon and Evening, had some more Enchiladas with that Super Chili
Then trimmed the Chicken Thighs, took the Membrane off the back of the Beef Ribs
Dusted all well with 'Head Country' Dry BBQ Rub and into the Fridge to season overnight

~ Monday BBQ ~ Ready to Prep Overnight ~

That finished up Sunday, another nice Day and hoping for a Great Memorial Day for Monday!

~ Spare Ribs in the Smoker ~
~ More Bench Painting ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Saturday Morning, a busy Day planned, BBQ Ribs, Paint the bench, then whatever else
First thing, the Ribs out of the Fridge to warm to Room Temp at 6 a.m.
And then into the Smoker at 8 a.m. and headed down to the Fast Stop

~ Spareribs ready for the Smoker ~

The Day started with the Sun peeking over the Gully and then the Clouds rolled in
But the Rain wasn't supposed to start until after noon, Mike missed that one
So, I headed to the Fast Stop with the Dark Clouds overhead, inside and some Chat with Roos Beck
Told him I was doing BBQ, He says 'You didn't Invite me'... Told him it wasn't his kind of Ribs
Traded in $30 worth of winners for $30 more of possibilities and headed Home

Hotted up another Cup of Coffee and worked my Scratchers, Hey Hey!... a $100 Winner!
Kept scratching and won a $5 Ticket and then a $15 Ticket... Headed back to the Fast Stop

~ Best Winner for May! ~

Cashed in my $120 Wins and pocketed the $100 and bought $20 more possibles...
Roos Beck was then cheering my $100 Win, he says 'Now you can buy Beef Ribs for me!'
'I says OK, when ya want BBQ?', he says 'Tomorrow? Monday?'... I told him they had to special order Beef Ribs
But I told him I would stop in the Price Chopper on the way back and see if and when

So I stopped in the Price Chopper, back to the Meat Department and lookee there! They had some
So I picked up a pack and also some Chicken Thighs, they were on a super Sale
And then back to el Ranchito to scratch off one more dinky $5 win and went out to paint some more

Masking Taped the Black Trim, then painted the rusty Metalwork with Yellow Paint
And now I am not sure I really like that effect, OK, well wait a while, anyway done at Noon

Next I took the Ribs out of the Smoker, slathered them with KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
And into the Oven for another Hour and a Half and then out to cool and get a Photo

~ Ribs out of the Smoker at Noon ~

Back out front to put the finish coat of Polyurethane on the Bench, easy enough to spray it
Done quickly and it dried quickly, then I took off the Masking Tape and dragged it over next Door
And it looks petty good over there, I hope the Lady living there approves

~ Porch Bench ReHab Finished ~

And then about 2 p.m. look out there!... The Sun came out! Great!... Warm this place up a little
Took my Margarita out front to sit and sip and enjoy the warming Weather a while
Back in then to start my TV Viewing early, then I plated a Serving of my BBQ Ribs and Tater Salad
Pretty good stuff there Maynard, now the rest of it in the Freezer and there's a lot of it left
And plenty more ahead, more BBQ to do on Monday with Roos Beck here to share it
There will be be MORE stuff left over for the Freezer then... OK, done for Saturday
Let's get the Rest of this Holiday Weekend finished up

~ More Bench ReHab ~
~ Made those Enchiladas ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Oh Boy! 65 Degrees at 6:30 a.m. and going to 80, finally back to Spring Weather for a few Days
Says partly Sunny... I was wondering, I woke up at 3 a.m. to hear Thunder and Rain and I had my Bench to Paint
Took a peek out front, looks like we had a few Sprinkles but not much Rain overnight
Maybe I can get more of my Bench Painting done before I start on my Enchilada Project later in the Day

And off to the Price Chopper at 8:30 a.m. Needed Juice, Milk, Vino Tinto and a look at Pork Spareribs
My Facebook friend Diane in California had remarked on an old Post of mine with Ribs on Sale a Year ago
She asked: 'You think you could do that again?', I said I'll check and the same Ribs were on Sale for the same Price again!
So I picked up a nice Five Pound Slab and maybe there will be BBQ on Saturday and the El Pato Ranchito!

~ Same Spareribs on Sale ~ Same Price as a Year Ago! ~

Back out front to do some more Bench painting, put masking Tape around the Trim I wanted to paint Black
Then painted the Trim around the Metalwork that I wanted to paint Yellow, now a rusty Bronze
Then I flipped it upside down to paint the bottom areas I couldn't reach from the top
That should finish up the Black painting, next the Yellow and finally Polyurethane over the Wood areas

~ Almost there ~ Some Yellow Paint and the Polyurethane Finish ~

And then 1 p.m. and about time to start on the Enchilada construction, here we go, take the Chili out of the Fridge
Then Shred the Colby-Jack Cheese, dice the Sweet Yellow Onions, then start warming the Tortillas
Heat some Oil in the Pan, in with the Tortillas one at a time to soften, then stack them
Some Enchilada Sauce in the Pyrex Dish, Next one at a time, Stuff with Cheese and Onion, roll up and into the Dish
Add more Sauce on top and then add the Chili, more Cheese and finally a little more Sauce, then into the Oven

~ Fresh Made ~ El Pato's Supreme Enchladas ~

And 2 p.m. 82 Degrees, the Enchiladas in the Oven for 30 minutes or so, Margarita Time
Time to trot out front, sip my Margarita, enjoy that Gorgeous Weather and listen to the Birdies Sing

Of course have to take a look at the Sweet Potato Vine... Wow! Now at 38 Inches and still climbing
And with a little help, the Vine decided to climb the String instead of the Trellis
OK then, 3 p.m. Time to get back to the Kitchen and put all that cooking stuff away and get back to the TV

~ Sweet Tater Vine on Friday ~

So, ater my Margarita and some TV Time, time for some Dinner, those Encliladas are ready
Dished up a Plate and dug in, hey pretty good! Especially that this and that Chili, better than usual
So then after a couple of old TV Shows, all sleepy after another busy Day, off to Dreamland and I had lots of Dreams

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ Started Painting my Bench ~
~ A pretty lucky Lotto Day ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well now... a better Weather Day for Thursday? About time but still a chilly start at 45 Degrees
But I wrote that at 5 a.m. ...Mike says it will warm up fast to 77 in the Afternoon
And then the next 9 days will all be above 70 with a few 80s thrown in... and maybe a little Rain

So, the plan for the Day? Pretty well caught up with the Gardening, inside and out
Not much garden going on inside anyway, only two little Pepper Plants in AeroGarden 7 now
And I would put them outside if I had any enpty Pots but all are filled now except for one very small one

So, got the Computer running around done, jump in the shower, got the big Bandage off my cheek
Next headed out for P&G Hardware for some Paint and Brushes, needed some Yellow, Black and some Wood color Paint
Then when the weather warms up confortably, finish up on the Rehab Job

And headed out at 8 a.m. First to the Price Chopper, Coffee and Bandages for the new Surgery
I took the Bandage off after the suggested 48 Hours, looks pretty good... lots of neat Stitches
Got $30 worth of Scratchers too and then went around the Corner and down the Hill to P@G Hardware
They didn't have exactly what I wanted but I got some Paint that should do OK

And then way over to Hiway I-29 to the UPS office to drop off the Return to Amazon
I think after this try I will just stick to the 8GB Ram that came installed...
I don't plan to do any Video Editing and Rendering that takes a lot of Memory to do

Then back Home to start Scratching Winners, got Three out of Six ticket to win $45, $15 Profit there
And then, how about some Breakfast at 9 a.m. and then get out front and Paint that Bench

10 a.m. 66 Degrees, bright Sun, clear blue Sky, Temps warming up, went back to see Roos Beck at the Fast Stop
Traded in my $45 of Winners, pocketed $25 and got $20 more Tickets, back Home to win another $50
Time to quit for the Day while I was ahead for a change... Let's go out and Paint!

First some more wire brushing on the Wood Seat and Back, then the Wood Stain and Sealer
Well that didn't take long, first Color done, maybe, might need another Coat later
I'll let that dry and then maybe Paint the Metal Frame, that will be Rustoleum Black

~ Wood Parts on the Bench Painted ~

Back out again a little later, the Wood Stain was almost Dry, thought I would do a little Black on the Metalwork
Got my Paint and Brush and Chair to sit on while I painted, taking my time and alost finished it
Some of the Frame under the Seat is hard to reach when the Bench is upright, needs to be flipped a little
So I will let the Paint dry and then flip it and finish later, back in at 1 p.m.

Was then thinking, I had some Chili in the Freezer, I should make Enchiladas and put that on top
But I needed Corn Tortillas, Cheese and Enchilada Sauce so I headed back to the Price Chopper for that
Got my stuff, headed back, had the Chili out to thaw, but when it thawed... it wasn't Chili it was Beans!
Good Beans with Salsa and stuff but sure not Chili, needed to make some then and I had a surplus of Burgers
So I thawed out three large Burgers, chopped them up, Garlic Salt and Pepper and browned them
Into a pot with chopped Onions, then home made Salsa, Chili Powder, Basil, Oregano and Cumin... yeah!
Let that simmer slowly, later took a taste... Oh yeah, Super Chili, but wasn't in the mood then to make the Enchladas
Enchiladas tale a lot of fixing, like Tamales, so I set it aside, will make the Enchiladas on Friday

Well that was it for another overall pleasant Day, kept busy and interested, I'll get back at it on Friday then

~ Ever Onward and Upward! ~

~ One More Cool Cloudy Day ~
~ Installed 8GB RAM in the new Box ~ Did NOT Work! ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

So, Wednesday starts off at 47 Degrees and a top later of 62... That's a bit cool
But Mike Thompson says it will warm into the 70s on Thursday and then a Week ahead of warmer Weather
Well we do want that warm... but we don't want HOT! They can hold off to July for that please

So what for Wednesday? No Gardening projects needed right away but I do have a Painting Project on hold
My old Porch Bench needs an overhall, looking kind of rough, I want to Paint it nicely
And then move it over to tne Neighbor's Porch, she doesn't have anything out there, I asked and she said OK

So the Operation on Tuesday, went pretty well, only took two Aspirin on Tuesday afternoon for a little Pain
Have the bulging Bandage on one Cheek and has to say there until Thursday Morning, then a Band-Aid will do
Then next Tuesday another Surgery and I would think the Stitches on this one will come out then

Ho Hummm, that kind of a drab Day again, headed out into the Cloudy cool Morning to the Price Chopper
Got my Lottos and headed back, stopped by the Snail Mail Box... Nuthin there.... Ho Humm again
Wanted to paint my Bench, not nice on the Porch for doing that, so bored, nothing to do, well I could go get the Paint

~ My old Porch Bench needs some ReHab ~

Well it was still too Cloudy and Chilly at 10:30 a.m. for me to want to do anything outside
But I did go out to get a catch up Photo of the Sweet Tater Vine climbing
It had just touched the String on Monday, now latching on and taking it up with the Vine

~ Tallest Vine on Monday ~ And on Wednesday ~

And the Day dragged on, how boring! But the Sun peeked out about 11:30 a.m. Maybe warm up some?
Sure does look a lot more inviting out there with some bright Sunshine
Well then, waiting for the additional RAM Memory module to arrive, I took the Cover off the Computer
Then it was just wait wait and wait for the Mail to arrive, usually around 2 p.m.

~ Installing more RAM in the New Computer ~

And then the Weather warmed up some and I headed out front to prep the Bench Project a little
I used a wire Brush to scrape away the old paint and Rust, almost ready for the new Paint now
Depending on the Weather that might be a good project for Thursday... We shall see

Next... 2:30 p,m. I headed up the Hill to the Mail Box and my Package was there... Goodie
And back down the Hill, already had the Case open and ready and popped in the RAM Module... so easy
Put the Covers back on, plugged everything in and hit the Start Button... HUH! Just a blinking Yellow light
So I unplugged it, took the Covers off again and took the Module out, plugged in the Power and Monitor Cord
And this time it worked like always, and so... I put the Covers back on, plugged everything back and that was that
Sometimes you just can't win... I got online and printed a return Lable to Amazon, take it to UPS for return Thursday

That was plenty of Computering for the Day, Margarita and Hamburger Time and that will work just fine

~ KC Skin and Cancer Center again on Tuesday ~
~ A Little Garden Work ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Off again to see the Dermatologist or is he the 'Mohs' Surgeon, that's what I am headed for... again
A few Weeks back I went in for an 'ear bump'... The NP did three Biopsys here and there
Two came back positive on one Cheek, so I have this appointment today to remove one of them
And then go back next Tuesday to remove the second... A tedious process, but... Oh well
I'm taking my Laptop to document the whole process, and it will take some time, heading out at 7:30 a.m.

And by the bye... I uploaded tha new Garden Video first thing on Tuesday Morning
Here it is for those not easily bored with my humble Home Movies

And then... I headed out the Door at 7:30 a.m. A few sprinkles and a bit on the chilly side
Got to the Center about 10 Minutes early, was called in by the Nurse right at 8 a.m.
The usual little prep and then the Doctor came in about Ten Minutes later and started in
A little drawing, a little measuring and then in with the numbing stuff and then he started right in
Just felt a little tugging and snipping here and there, no pain and he was done in just a few minutes
Then off to the Patient Waiting Room at 8:32 for the long wait until the Verdict...

A few more people in and out of the Waiting Room and finally the Nurse popped in... 'Donald?'
'Yes Ma'am' and then she said you are good to go! Hurray!, only one cutting session this time
But the Cauterizing and sewing up are a bit more tedious than the Surgery, and took about as long
Then the Bandaging, the checkout and headed back, stopped in at the Price Chopper for Lottos
Then I walked in the Door at Home right at 10 a.m. Mission accomplished and fairly easy this time

Later took a walk out back, wanted to weed the Pepper Bed, and thin the Beets some in that Bed too
Did that, and thought I would fix the bowed bottom Slat in the front gate of that Bed
What? buy a new straight 1 X 2 Board and replace it... Nah... The bowed slat wouldn't bother on top
So I just flipped it over, moved the locking hooks from the straight Slat to the curved one and Wah Lah!
Now a curved Slat is on top and a straight one on the bottom so it fits in the angles that hold it there

~ Garlic- Peppers, Radishes and Beets ~

And back out front, hazy Sun but had warmed up some, did some more Pruning of the Golden Barberry Bushes
They grew more last year than they ever did and really started out strong this Year

~ Golden Barberry to be Trimmed ~ And Trimmed ~

Then it was Margarita time and more messing around on the new Computer, aways something to play with
Into the Afternoon and Evening and then giving up for the Day and now... what's for Wednesday?

~ A Whole New Week ~ I Like Mondays ~
~ A Quiet Day ~ But kept Busy ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Monday, Monday... I do like Mondays and starting a new Week all over, cleans the slate kinda
Not much exciting going on Sunday but I did keep fairly busy most of the cooler Day
And Today, not a single thing on the 'To Do' list but I am sure something will come up

Worked on the new Computer some a good part of the Day Sunday, worked OK except just a tad slow on some things
I am just so used to working with the 16GB RAM in my other Three Desktops, even my oldest HP is faster
So first thing Monday morning I got online and ordered an 8GB DDR4 2400HZ RAM module from Amazon
Hopefully that will bring the speed up in the new Computer to what I am used to... GO GO GO

~ Kingston RAM Module on Order ~

Starting Monday out at 52 Degrees at 6 a.m. and mostly cloudy and topping at maybe 66 Degrees
Well, nothing much needs to be done in the Gardens, had lots of Rain, no watering needed soon
So on to whatever the new Day brings

Had a $20 Bill in my Pocket to throw away so I headed down to the Fast Stop for Lottos and Chat
And we did a lot of Chat, about Phones and Computers and his trip to Los Angeles, showed me Photos
I said send me some and I'll make you a Web Page, he sent them on Facebook Messenger, I touched them up a little
Then I made him a simple Web Page, uploaded it and sent the URL to him on Messenger... He says back..."Cool!"

~ RoosBeck on the Beach in Los Angeles ~

And then I won a $10 Ticket I got from him, then headed back down there to trade it fr two more and won $15
So.. just a $5 loss for the Day but who counts the losers? I just count the Winners!

Checked the Sweet Tater Vine again on the way back in... Hey Hey... on the Way, just touching the String
Looks like it is checking it out and see if it is safe to latch onto.. We shall see Tomorrow

~ Sweet Potato Vine checking out the Climbing String ~

And then, later in the Afternoon, thought I would check the Garden, took a hike to look
Then an Idea, nice lighting, no bright Sun so no harsh shadows, might be time for a Garden Video
Got my Video Camera and headed out, first the Front plants then up the Stairs and around back
Twenty mnutes later and I had a nice Video so into the Video Editor and made me a Movie
Then burned a Blu-Ray DVD and watched it on the TV, not bad, some scenes a bit shaky, better with a Tripod
But overall a nice Catchup on the Garden so far in the Merry Merry month of May

And again, on into the rest of a nice Afternoon and Evening and all's Well until Tuesday

~ Setting up the New Computer ~
~ One more little Pepper moved Outside ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Copying Files from the Dell Two SSD ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Sunday Morning... Started out my Computer Routine on the New Computer, checking the Bank and Facebook
Then I started copying Files from the SSD I removed from Dell Two, got most all I wanted for now copied
That SSD is a real asset, has so much Data that I need from time to time for this and that
Then I started on Sunday's Blog, got that Photo of the SSD being copied... while it was doing it
The new Box seems to be doing OK, I kind of like it and it is NOT on the Windows Inside Update
So my Windows 10 Program should be stable for a while... I hope

OK... most of the Day's start Routine accompished, I was thinking the new Computer was a bit slow
And it only has 8GB RAM, wondered if that was it, I had the 16GB of RAM removed from Dell Two
So I popped off the Cover of the new Box to check, yeah... It has One 8GB RAM Module in one socket and One empty one
That means I have to have another 8GB Module to add more RAM, the Dell Two had Four 4GB Modules, that won't work
Well, I won't be doing any Video Rendering on this one so I can bear with the 8GB at least for now

~ Checking the RAM Modules ~

So a Bright Sunny Morning only 49 Degrees at 9 a.m. Time to jump in the Shower and get the rest of the Day going
Then to head out then for my Fortune, this time at the Price Chopper, cashed in a $5 Ticket then hit the ATM for Cash
Next the PC2 Lotto Machine and in with $25, out with Four Tickets, back home to scratch
Scratched off Four Losers, just not much luck for May so far

Then I started putting the Parts I salvaged out of the Dell Two back in, found I couldn't use them
The Blu-ray Drive could not be installed in the new Computer Case and I couldn't use the 4GB RAM Modules either
So the Dell Two is all back together and someday maybe I can get a fix some way or somehow

About Noon-Thirty I headed out back to check things, did a little Weeding and thinning, most all looking good
Took a Hike up to the Bench, looks like the Cannas are trying to hold on, worth that try to keep them going
On the way back in a peek at the Sweet Tater Vine, still climbing up up up and away!

~ Two More Inches and it will climb the String ~

And in the Kitchen, only three Pepper Plants left in AeroGarden 7, one a tiny 'Purple Hot Pepper'
It was shaded by two taller Pepper Plants so I thought it might do better in a Pot outside
So I got little pot, filled it with Soil and potted the Pepper... Not it's outside with the Others

~ Another Pepper from Inside goes Outside ~

And that was the outside activity on Sunday... Just a bit cool for porch siting in the Shade, the sun was warm though
So it was inside doing this and that and then Afternoon and Evening TV and what's for Dinner?
And then off to bed too early again, that just makes my Night way too long... But... Oh well

Saturday Morning, up again a bit early at 4:30 a.m. Well, better than 3:30 a.m. on Friday
So we got a heavy Rain and the Plants all seem to like it, rain is just better than Hose Water it seems
62 Degrees at 6:15 Saturday and they say a top of 67, well we can live with that... and mostly Cloudy
No plans for the Day yet, the new Computer might show up... Will take one more shot at fixing the Dell Two

Going to 'Clone' the Dell Two SSD from the Dell One SSD, see if that will work
And I copied all the 'User' Info, Documents, Photos, Music and Videos from the HP on Friday
It is on an external 1 TB Hard Drive now and I can use any and all on the new Computer

So I set the Computer to Clone the SSD and headed out for my Lottos, back to the Fast Stop
Traded in a $20 Win for $20 more and back Home to scratch off a dinky $5 again

Cloning finally done, I stuck the SSD back in the Failed Dell Two, booted it and NO GO!
Same old thing and I couldn't overcome it and didn't want to take it somewhere for Service
So I took all the high Dollar goodies out of the Dell Two, the Hard Drive, DVD and Blu Ray Burner
The 1 TB SSD and all 16 GB of Memory Modues for use somewhere and anywhere... maybe

Then it was just wait for the FedEx Man to bring the new Box and he showed up early at 10:20
Brought in my New Computer, I unboxed it... OH NO! I ordered the wrong one, not an 'XPS' like the other one
They had the wrong Photo online, this is an 'Inspiron', A cheapie Model and missing some goodies
Well the Price was right though and it will do what I need to do, write my Blog and stuff
My rescued Blu-Ray DVD Video Burner cannot be installed in it, I'm stuck with one dinky DVD Drive
Not sure yet if I can boost the ROM to 16GB like I had, might have to do with the 8GB now installed
So I'll now be doing my Videos on Dell One, has my only installed Blu-Ray Burner... Oh? Maybe there is one in the HP?

I started installing my most used Programs and that takes time also, I got my HTML Editor on it
And my Photoscape Photo Editor and FTP Uploader... Now writing this Blog on it and will upload it from this one

So that took me well into the afternoon, and just coasting after than into the usual finale for the Day
A busy Computer Day for Saturday, a little more tuning up for Sunday, still thinking of how to fix my Dell Two

A little more puttering around with the Computer trouble Saturday Morning again with no luck
But it won't matter all that much on Saturday, the new Computer is scheduled to be delivered then
After that a lot of file copying to get all my stuff back on it that I want.. and need

Then a another trip to the Price Chopper, needed Chicken Gizzards for the Cat and some Beer for my Guest
And I bought another $20 worth of Scratchers and then won my $20 back, even up for the Day

Back home I headed up the Hill in back again, wanted to tie up the Tomato Plants
They are growing fast now and leaning some, I want them nice and straight to climb
So far they are blooming and looking a lot better so far than the Crop last year, I didn't do the 'Missouri Prune'

Got a new Photo of the Sweet Tater Plant on the way back in, Six Inches taller in Two Days
I tied a String to the Deck Rail for it to start climbing, maybe a couple more Days

~ Wednesday ~ Friday ~ Two more Days 6 More Inches ~

And on then into the afternoon, waiting for my Guest, I was playing on my Computer
Working n a new fancier Video 'Intro' for my Home Movies... Just finished up as I saw her out the Window
Greetings and Salutations and I wanted her to show her the Intro I just made... She thought it was cute
I'll have to think up a new Video to use it and see what it looks like on the Big Screen

So then some catch-up chat and then a Kansas City 'Cervesa' for each of us and then the long long Movie
She likes Westerns and I had one already recorded from TCM, John Wayne in 'Chism'

So that finally finished, then we watched my Birdie Videos and some Photos on my Computer
Some old Arizona Photos I took 60 years ago, some Nature Sanctuary Photos, I have lots
Finally the Party wound down, she headed up the Hill and I headed to the Kitchen

Found some goodies to hot up and serve with some more Old TV and movies and finally off to Bed
And for Satuday... New Computer coming then but one more shot at fixing the old one
Should I say 'old one'? It is te newest and best Dell Desktop I have... not'old' at all

What Day is this? Oh yeah, Thursday, been running around in circles on Thursday Morning
First thing another Windows 10 Insider Update, I let that install while I went in the Living Room
Wanted to finish and upload Wednesday's Blog on my HP Desktop in there, did that
And then back to my Dell Two desktop to play with some trail Fixes again and with no Luck at all
So, Try to find a professional to fix it or just buy another Computer? Might just do that

When the Update finished I checked to see if the latest two bugs had been fixed... Nope
So, tired of writing my Blog on the HP and TV in the Living Room, a little tedious doing that...
I downloaded another HTML Program and installed that on Dell Two so I could write my Blog on that
And that is what I wrote this Blog with on Thurday Morning... and lived Happily ever after

So then the Bank sign on bug... I called the Bank, told them my Problem, they worked on it
And they could not find the Problem, well I can still log in to the HP, have to settle for that for the present

And then, I logged on to Dell.com and bought a new Desktop, I don't fool around... I want action
I can use my current Monitor, and I can remove the SSD from the Dell Two, install it in the new one maybe
And there is the Blu-ray Burner I installed in Dell Two, that will have to be switched to the new Box

On to the Day... Beeded some stuff at the Price Chopper, those daily necessities
Coffee Filters, TP, Milk, Juice... Picked that up and hit the ATM for some Lotto Money
Then down to the Fast Stop for chat with Roos Beck and traded in a $5 Winner, bought $25 more
Back home to scratch off three Losers and one winner to get my $5 back, no fortune for Thursday

And then, hooked up the Hose again and watered everything out front, then some Porch sitting
Nice Weather but Windy again, watch the Birdies flitting back and forth, saw a Humming Bird twice
Haven't seen many of them this this year and the one I saw was a very tiny one

When I mixed my Margarita I saw the Pepper Plants in Aerogarden 7 weren't doing so well
I already moved the Two Jalapeno Plants to Pots as they were getting too tall
Then it looked like the small Purple Peppers were being crowded out so I potted two of them
That leaves One Purple Pepper there and two other Hot Pepper Plants, just too many big plants for that Garden

~ More Peppers moved to Pots ~

On to the rest of the Day, was planning to water in back but they said Rain was on the way
Then another thought, I still had the Root ball from one of the Rose Bushes I took out of the Barrels
Decided to plant it back next to the other rescued Rose to see if it would take hold

~ Whatever can that be in There? ~

And that was about it for Thursday, kept busy, nothing much special going on... On to Friday

~ Sweet Potato Vine grew 7 Inches in Three Days ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Wednesday Morning, got my early Morning stuff done, Blog Finished, Email Checked, Facebook Posted, then headed out at 7:30
First a peek at the Sweeet Potato in the Pot, wow! Really growing the last few Days and another Vine almost ready
Then up the Hill in back with the Cannas I removed from the Pots earlier, see if they will grow again
I tugged my little Lawn Mower up there and cut the Weeds and Grass around the Bench, the Mowing Crew had almost gone that high
Then I dug Holes and planted the Eight Cannas of different sizes, just an experiment, see what happens
Worth the effort to see if they take hold and prosper and add to the Scene up there

~ Eight Cannas Planted by the Bench ~

Then I Planted the Three little Impatiens Plants left over from Tuesday in one of the few Pots left
Got all that done before Breakfast and nothing else planned for the Day except Water everything front and back again

Then back to the attemped Computer repair for my Dell Two, tried this, that and some of the other with no luck at all
So far the only Computer problem I cam remember that I couldn't eventually figure out but I can't seem to solve this one
And now what? Let a Professional take a look at it? That can get expensive and nothing is mechanically wrong
Something needs to be tweaked in the Registry and I don't know just what I have tried several things
On to the rest of the very Pleasant but very Windy Day, got back out front to water everything as planned
And then the usual finale, Dinner and TV... Do I need something new? Oh well, suits me for now... on to Thursday then...

~ Back to Larry's Nursery Again ~
~ Last Two Empty Planters Filled ~

~ New Use for my Big TV ~ Writing my Blog ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Well now on Monday I had found that sitting in front of the low End Table holding the Monitor writing my Blog was uncomfortable
So I thought that maybe using a taller TV Table and using my TV as a Monitor would work some better
I set that up and it does work better, still not as comfy as using my Office Chair in the Computer Room though
But until I can get my Dell Two fixed or the HTML Program working on Dell One, looks like this is the answer

And what for the rest of Tuesday? Another great Weather Day forecast... What to do? Plant more Flowers?
Well, I didn't use the Two empty Planters I had as I expected to do with the Celosia
So I headed back to Riverside to Larry's Nursery again to see what I could find to put in them
I was thinking more Coleus but a darker red Color and that is what I decided on, got Two Four-Packs
Got a Four-Pack of some Red Impatiems too, a couple I got from Lowes weren't looking too good

~ Coleus and Impatiens to Plant ~ Coleus planted in the Planters ~

So back from Larry's I set about filling the Planters with Potting Soil, had just exactly enough to fill them
Then I planted Four Plants in each one... Then replaced a failing Impatiens in each of Two other Planters
Except for one more small Pot and a couple left over Impatiens Plants that should just about complete the Planting in front
I'll plant the last Impatiens on Wednesday and then thinking of planting Cannas up on the Hill in back

And then, I watered the new Plantings and as the Day slipped by I mixed a Margarita and sat out front again
Enjoying Nature and the nice but windy Day and that was really about all except the usual Evening Routine for Tuesday

Started off Monday still trying to fix the Boo-Boo on Dell Two Desktop with no luck
On with the Morning Routine again and on to the Gorgeous Day ahead, some really nice weather the last few Days
Finished and posted my Sunday Blog, catchng up with the Computer bad news, then started my Chores
I had the AeroCart sitting out front loaded with Rose Clippings. I headed down the Hill with that and dumped it
Back in to start Monday's Blog, added the Rhubarb Harvest Photos I hadn't included in Saturday's Blog
Didn't mention then I had Harvested the first Crop of Rhubarb for the Year, cut it up and made Sauce
I had some of that Monday Morning with Buttered Toast, pretty good, more ike Marmalade using the Honey in it

~ Rhubard to Harvest ~ Rhubarb Sauce ~

Back out front and enjoying the Morning, looking around at my Plants and Flowers, I still had Two empty Planters and Eight Pots
Decided to run over to Lowes again to see what I might use in them, needed more Potting Soil too
I saw some Celosia that I thought would go good in the Planters and a nice big Marigold for one Pot
There were Three Celosia Plants in each Pot, I thought I could separate them for the Planters
I got Three Pots of Three Plants each, that would make Four Plants for Two Planters and one left over for a Pot
But when I got ready I saw that wouldn't work, be better to plant the clumps of Three in separate Pots

~ Celosia to Plant ~ Marigold Planted ~

I put the Marigold in the Center of the Porch in front of the Red Daisy, One Celosia on left side of Center
And Two on the Right, just might move the large Pot somewhere else later

~ New Plants out Front on Monday ~

That pretty well wrapped up Monday's Gardening, I have Two empty Planters left and several pots still idle
Just might run back over to Larry's Nursery and pick up some more Coleus for the Planters

Tuesday here we come!

~ Windows 10 Update Problem First Thing ~
~ Worked most all day trying to fix It ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ Writing my Blog on the HP in the Living Room ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

So, I started off Sunday as usual but saw there had been an Windows 10 Insider Update again, saw no problems to start with
But then when I tried to open my HTML Blog Program it said "Your Computer cannot open this Program, check with the Source"
And then later when I tried to open my Online Bank Program I couldn't get past the Sign In... So I couldn't check the Bank
Or write my Blog on either Desktop, checked the Laptop... same thing... Oh Woe! Now what?

Next I tried to roll back my Dell Two desktop to the previous Update, and it failed the Process and I couldn't get it to Boot after that
So I worked most all the rest of the Day until mid-afternoon trying this and that and could find no fix

Then a thought... What about the HP Desktop in the Living Room, maybe it hadn't updated yet, checked... it hadn't!
So I checked my Bank, that worked, tried the HTML Editor... That works, I am using it now
But I had all most all of a busy Day Saturday already written up on that Dell Two. and no way to get at it

Well then, not much to say about Sunday Morning through Sunday Afternoon, trying to fix that Bomb
The two things that didn't work on Dell One I could do on the HP, but after the Rollback I could do nothing om Dell Two
I tried all kinds of things including online tips but I could not get it going.. I am stuck for now on that One
See why I need a spare? My two most used features I now have to do on the HP... The old workhorse...
I am hoping the next update will fix the minor problems on Dell One and the Laptop...
I don't know yet how I am going to get Dell Two fixed

So what for the rest of Sunday, finally mixed my Margarita and went out front to enjoy the Weather
Then I hooked up the Hose, watered everything out back then everything out front
For a Task Finale I raked the rest of the Rose Bush clippings and put then in the AeroCart to dump
In the Cart now, I'll trundle them down to the Gully this Morning, Monday and proceed with using up the rest of the Day
